ตอน 374: How DARE He?

Richard worked restlessly for a few hours after putting the kids to bed. Laney was still at the bachelorette party. WHY was she still at the bachelorette party? It was after midnight!

He knew he wouldn't be able to sleep until he was sure she was alright so he kept going through emails on his phone until she came through the door looking exhausted and miserable. He knew something was going to happen!

"Hey. Did everything go okay?" he asked.

"Sort of?"

How could it only sort of gone okay? That was suspicious. "What do you mean 'sort of'?" 

"The party itself went well. But I ended up staying too late talking to Olivia and I'm really tired so I'm going to get ready for bed," Laney told him on her way into the bedroom. 

That would explain why she was tired but not why she was miserable. He didn't like this but was forced to let it go because they both needed to sleep. Tomorrow was going to be a long day.
