Despite my fears of being locked up, I was allowed into the city whenever I wanted; only I had to have Qixu or Jork with me.

Even though we shared the luxurious two-bedroomed apartment together, I barely saw Dax again.

Whenever I did see the busy General, I asked about his progress on getting the elders to agree with me leaving.

Unfortunately, they viewed me as a safety risk. After many nights of tossing and turning whilst thinking it over, I could only reluctantly understand their concerns. 

If I had something this precious, relying on me to keep it safe, I would be overly cautious too.
