14. Little Angel

Bang! Bang! Bang!

Early in the morning, Jia Molei's peace was shattered by the persistent pounding on his door. There was only one person who would pound on his door like that instead of ringing the doorbell, and he hastily turned off his stove before rushing to the door, shouting, "I'm coming, I'm coming!"

The door swung open, and Jia Molei immediately dropped his gaze, finding a sullen five-year-old Xiao Yu standing there. She was still clad in her pink unicorn onesie while dragging her backpack with one hand, her shoulder-length hair sticking out in all directions. If there were two prominent traits she inherited from her omega father, then first it would be his bird-nest hair and second, his adorable pout.

Feeling a twinge of helplessness, Jia Molei opened the door wider and invited her in, "You could have given me a call instead of coming here yourself, brat."
