He crossed his legs and leaned his chin into his fist. He gaze over her face while she stared at him. Their eyes met and locked with each other.

"Do you remember when you asked me if I have someone special?" He asked.

She nodded. "That's when they announced your engagement and you were frustrated."

He chuckled. "I didn't give you an answer because I wasn't sure back then. But I will answer you now. As crazy as it may sound, but I'm in love with a ghost. And if death is the only way so I can be with her, then I will gladly throw my life for her."

Her eyes were as steady as glass. She was unable to give him a response and was just staring at him.

Elijah gave a big, wild roar of a laugh. "You look stupid."

She pouted. "Because you suddenly confessed. What do you think would I feel?"
