ตอน 6: Chapter 06

Notes: Thanks to my patrons- Josh Brolin, Sheldon Cooper, Austin Seaweed and The Berry Eating Man for supporting my writing.

On Steven's Behaviour- Steven is a good guy. Steven loves Silver a lot and wants his brother to do well in life. He will not excuse immoral decisions but will look the other way if his brother isn't doing something absurdly immoral.

On Elijah's Behaviour- Elijah at his core is someone that is very enthusiastic about technology and science, and that was the reason that he dated his wife in the first place, she too was enthusiastic about technology and science. Elijah has a favourite son in Steven (Not that he doesn't love Silver) who he believes has the passion that Elijah had at his age. Unlike Silver's calculating nature, the laidback and passionate nature of Steven is something Elijah relates to more.

"You know, I missed two of your birthdays Silver, how about a present or two from your older brother?"

Silver sighed at the question before saying, "By that logic, I missed two of your birthdays too, I haven't got a gift for you. I will find something for you in a few days. I have got a fair bit of cash."

Steven chuckled and replied, "Yeah, Dad told me of your deal with regional professor Birch. The SilverCaster program is a useful piece of tech."

Silver nodded as his thoughts went to the program he had sold as an add-on feature for the regional pokedex to Birch for a good sum of money and a favour. He had never gone through with using the tracking technology of the pokeballs to retrieve pokemon and dismissed the idea as too complicated due to pokemon with extreme physical bodies like Magmar, Slugma or any electric types with Static as an ability. He had, however, made it so that one could mass release a pokemon at the tap of a button even from a miniaturized pokeball that the trainer did not have on himself. Birch had been fairly impressed since Silver had recognised and solved a problem that not many would think of.

Though Silver had also decided to not sell watches that could directly release pokemon instead of the pokeballs making the balls act more like a memory storage while the watch became the actual transfer point. The ability to send out pokemon from his watch instead of their pokeball was a great one, one that he realised he shouldn't give to others when the tactics could save his skin in the future.

Silver shrugged before he said, "It wasn't a big deal and was a simple program."

Steven laughed as he went to one of the staff members and asked them to bring him his travel bag.

The staff hurried out before bringing Steven's bag from the trunk of the car he had been travelling in.

Steven took out what looked like two Pokeballs- one being a Greatball and the other an Ultraball before placing it on the table and saying, "Scan them."

Silver first scanned the Greatball and what he heard nearly had him recoil in shock.

"Larvitar, the Rock Skin Pokémon. Larvitar is a small, green reptilian Pokémon known for its rugged, rocky hide. Its body is covered in tough, segmented plates, serving as natural armor for protection. This Larviatr is a male. Register Pokeball for more information."

Steven grinned before saying, "Go on, check out the other one."

Silver did and his jaw dropped at the following entry from his watch.

"Bagon, the Rock Head Pokémon. Bagon is a small, blue reptilian Pokémon with a strong desire to fly. Its sturdy head is covered with a thick, helmet-like shell, providing protection as it hammers against boulders in an effort to strengthen its headbutt attacks. This Bagon is a male. Register Pokeball for more information."

Silver's hands were shaking as he looked at miniaturized pokeballs with something akin to reverence as he asked, "Which one do I get?"

Steven's smile widened as he said, "Both, lil' bro. You get both of them."

Silver froze before looking at Steven and saying, "B-but don't you want them? They are pseudo-legendaries Steven."

Steven smiled kindly at his Silver as he replied, "They will take a lot of time to grow, I already have a solid team Silver and my team isn't weak, you know."

Silver shook his head as he said, "I-I don't mean to cast stones on your Steve but, a pseudo-legendary with a trainer like you could achieve great things, Steve."

Steven smiled before asking, "Like what? Become the regional champion?"

Silver blushed, realizing that his brother might not even have the time to train the Pokemon he had with himself right now as he took on the role of the Champion of Hoenn. Steven was trusting him with not one but two pseudo-legendary pokemon and Silver would be damned if he disappointed his brother.

Silver squared his shoulder and looked his brother straight in the eye as he said, "I will train them to the best of my ability."

"I have no doubt you will, lil' bro," Steven grinned at Silver.

Silver grinned back before he grabbed his brother in a tight hug.

[A few days later.]

Steven left Rustboro after staying with his family for a few days and going over the affairs of Devon. The Champion of Hoenn operated out of Ever Grande City after all and that was not changing.

Though before Steven had left, Silver had already grilled him about the details of how he had found the two pokemon.

The twenty-year old champion told Silver that the Larvitar was rescued from a poaching operation by Steven when he was called in to help by the police against the criminals, while he found Bagon after a few days in meteor falls fighting off a small group of Golbats. Steven had helped both of them before asking them if they would like to join Silver, his brother, who was a new trainer that would be sure to help them become a Tyranitar and Salamence.

He had already met the two pokemon with Steven introducing the trainer and pokemon. Bagon and Larvitar had accepted him as their trainer but Silver had not started their training until today.

He pressed a button on his watch and held it before saying, "Alioth, Bagon, Larvitar."

Three blue jets of plasma erupted from his watch with each name he said and Alioth along with the baby pokemon came out.

Alioth gave out a purr of happiness while Bagon and Larvitar gave out noises of recognition.

"Hello Alioth, Bagon and Larvitar, now you three might be wondering what I have planned for today?"

The Pokemon made noises of affirmation and Silver told them, "Well, Alioth will start working on Double Team."

He remembered the data he had gotten from the Pokeball's scan.

'Species:Larvitar(Male)

Ability: Guts

Moves: Dragon Dance(Egg), Iron Defense(Egg), Bite, Rock Throw

Species: Bagon(Male)

Ability: Rock Head

Moves: Dragon Dance(Egg), Dragon Pulse(Egg), Ember, Headbutt'

Silver looked at the two pokemon and decided that the first thing they needed to do was push Dragon Dance to the absolute limit while trying to maintain the boost as long as possible as they worked up the speed aspect of it for now.

Salamence was supposed to be his nuke that would be used against multiple enemies or for overwhelmingly strong long-range attacks.

Tyranitar would be his strong brawler that beat the snot out of his opponents in close combat. These differences in fighting style would however, only become relevant when the two pokemon achieved their final evolutions since they both were pretty limited during their second evolution while their first evolutions were also fairly limited.

"Alright you two, I want both of you to use Dragon Dance, to the utmost limit you can." Bagon and Larvitar both nodded before their faces took on a focused look and they both glowed in the light of the move. Bagon was surrounded by a blue aura while Larvitar was surrounded by a purple one. Three seconds later, the aura increased once more. This repeated three more times before the two pokemon looked up at Silver together indicating that this was their current ceiling.

Silver nodded, "Try to run around the mansion while maintaining the boost. If it falls put it back on, do this until exhaustion."

Both Bagon and Larvitar looked at him in horror and Silver chuckled before saying, "You want to be a Tyranitar and a Salamence, correct?"

The two pokemon nodded and Silver replied, "I want you to be the strongest Tyranitar and Salamence, pokemon strong enough to take on the legendaries and win. I want you two to be the strongest Tyranitar and Salamence to ever live. And that will require work. You will spar everyday with each other and against Alioth together. I will feed you a mixture of meat and berries along with supplements that will help you both grow strong in the coming years. I will train you to be monsters on the battlefield but for that you will have to obey the commands I give."

The two pokemon nodded as they followed the command he gave out and Silver sat down on the grass as he opened from the bag he was carrying and took out a tablet and stylus before opening the notepad app on it and writing down. The Tablet of course, was also connected to LANBOS.

Pokemon Type-Energy and Move Manipulation.(See More….)'

Pokemon had an instinctive grasp of the life energy within themselves which they convert to type energy and manipulate for moves or that is the hypothesis that Silver came up with from his observations over the years.

Now why was this important? Because this was the main difference between a human and a pokemon. The ability to ability to convert Life Energy to Type Energy. Humans too had life energy but simply lacked the faculty to convert it.

What was type energy then? The different energies that various moves require. So the question is- can this energy be manipulated freely without the active use of any moves? Or does type energy have to work in a rigid manner that does not allow for any free manipulation from the pokemon?

That is what Silver wanted to test. If the energy could be manipulated freely without the use of moves, then Silver could do a lot more with his pokemon than the limitation set upon him by Pokemon Moves.

Even a little ability to manipulate the type energy could lead to the creation of new techniques and allow for better versatility to moves themselves.
