ตอน 96: GALACTA IS HUNGRY
'I choose Immense Luck,' I said in my head. Nothing can beat immense luck. And with this... I can evolve into a cosmic being.
[Affirmative]
[Immense Luck> Fused]
[Cosmic being... Evolution in progress: 1%]
Suddenly, my phone rang.
It was Anna, my receptionist from the restaurant.
"Boss, you won't believe what's happening at the restaurant," Anna said, her voice filled with urgency.
"What's going on?" I asked, my curiosity piqued.
Anna explained, "There's a teenage girl here, and she's been eating non-stop. It's like she has an endless appetite. She's already devoured almost everything on the menu, and I'm starting to worry about where it's all going."
"How much did she eat?" I asked narrowing my brows.
"More or less everything. I need you to come here, Boss," She continued, "We don't know what to do. She's eating us out of business."
"I'll be there as soon as I can," I replied before ending the call. I turned to Domino and the Captain, "Sorry, ladies, but I have to go. Something urgent came up."
I jumped off the bed and got dressed, "Take your time here. Maybe get to know each other or enjoy each other. I will be back by evening, and we will continue where we left off."
I kissed them both on their cheeks and rushed out of the room.

I arrived at the restaurant in record time.
The place was packed with customers, and I spotted Anna manning the front desk. She looked relieved when she saw me.
"Boss, thank goodness you're here!" She exclaimed, "I was worried that you wouldn't make it in time."
I followed her into the VIP area and saw the girl chowing down on a large plate of pasta. She was young, with long dark hair and pale skin, purple iris, and her pupils were rectangular. To add to this weirdness, she is wearing a purple rubbery dress like those from dominatrix porn movies.
"That's her, Boss," Anna whispered as we approached the girl.
She was sitting at a table alone, surrounded by empty plates and bowls. She looked up as we approached and smiled.
She doesn't look like a human...
[Cosmic radiation detected]
[Higher cosmic being detected...]
[Approach with caution]
The System warned me, and I can't help but gulp a little.
"Hi there," I said, trying to sound friendly despite my nervousness. "I'm Brian, the owner of this restaurant. How's the food? Is everything to your liking?"
The girl paused her eating and stared at me with her purple eyes. Then she smiled, showing off her pearl-white teeth, "Yes, it's delicious. I like it very much. Oh, I am Galacta... You can call me Gali."
Wait! Galacta! She is the freaking runaway daughter of Galactus?! Is this why he is coming to Earth?
"It's my pleasure to meet you, Gali," I said, smiling nervously.
"Your food is tasty. But..." She blinked behind me and poked me with her finger, "You are tastier than any food."
"Errr... Thanks?" I mumbled.
"Can I eat you?" She asked innocently, "Please?"
"No, you cannot," I replied firmly, trying not to panic.
"Oh, no... That came out wrong... I mean... I can sense an immense sea of cosmic energy from you, and I want to consume it," Galacta explained, "I promise to pay for all the food I ate. I have gold and diamonds."
"Hold it there, lady. You just said your name is Galacta, right? Are you perhaps related to Galactus?" I asked.
"Indeed, I am," Galacta replied, her eyes shimmering with cosmic energy. "Galactus is my father. I inherited some of his cosmic power, but I'm not here to consume planets or anything like that. I'm on a journey to explore the universe and experience different cultures and cuisines."
I breathed a sigh of relief, realizing that she didn't seem intent on devouring the Earth, "But you do know your dad is on his way to devour Earth, right? You know how that Silver Surfer is destabilizing Earth's core, right?"
Galacta nodded, her expression growing more serious, "Yes, I'm aware of my father's plans, but he is beyond my reach. With so little cosmic energy, I am like an ant in front of him. I hate his way of doing things and I don't want or like to hurt innocents without any reason... But I can't do anything this time... But..."
"But?" I repeated.
"Maybe you can. You have a lot of cosmic energy. And you're a chef. You can cook something tasty for me by infusing your cosmic energy and powering me up!"
I can do that with my new skills. Infusing food with cosmic energy is a piece of. It would be easier to empower her since she is also a higher cosmic being. And if she can help me, maybe I don't have to put my neck out after all.
"If I do that, will you stop your father?" I asked.
"No. I can't do that... But I can slow him down a little," Galacta replied as she blinked over to the table and picked up the glass of lemonade, "While I slow him down, you can maybe convince Norrin Radd to stop destabilizing the Earth and kill him. He can do that if he overloads himself while I destabilize that dad of mine."
"You think he will just listen to me?" I asked skeptically.
"Nope... Dad has his entire planet in the palm of his hand... I'm sure Norrin Radd has a loved one too... Maybe a pet? A cute pet that he cherishes more than anything... Or, maybe a big family."
She finished her drink and turned to look at me with her purple eyes, "All you need to do is make some tasty food, add your cosmic energy, and then give it to me. And you tell Radd about our plan. I have already lifted his brainwash and put a mental barrier in his mind to prevent my dad from messing with his head."
"Why are you helping us? I don't think your dad would approve."
"What's the point of life if you can't enjoy it with others? And this planet has delicious food! You must survive! You must live!"
I couldn't help but laugh, "Fair enough."
I offered her my hand, "Let's make a deal."
She shook my hand, her hand feeling soft and warm.
I smiled at her and then said, "Well, I'll leave you to enjoy the food. I have to buy more ingredients to make food for you."
"I got a better idea... I wonder, what if I eat indirectly from the source?" She said licking her lips with her eyes fixed on my crotch.
My eyes widened as I realized what she meant, "Are you serious?"
She nodded, "I want to wait. But this urge... This scent of cosmic energy..." She is salivating, "I can't hold it... I want it now... So, I want to take the direct approach. I promise to help you. I... I am just hungry. I promise to make you feel better. I promise to make you feel good. I can't wait... Please!"
She is really hungry, isn't she? As far as I know, just like Galactus, her daughter is always hungry for cosmic energy. And she just happened to bump into me. A person who is filled with cosmic energy. I thought my System was something unique... Who knew that it was a cosmic force...
"Alright," I said, "You can eat as much as you want. But in return, you have to save this planet."
"Deal!" She exclaimed happily before kneeling before me.
"BOSS!" Anna called out to me as she walked towards us. "Don't do it here, you horny playboy. Take her to the back. That's what the private rooms are for."
I couldn't help but chuckle.
Galacta didn't seem to mind and simply smiled, "Your subordinates know you so well."
"Just like you are hungry for energy, I am hungry for..."
"Just leave," Anna pushed us away.
Luckily, thanks to Gali eating everything, there weren't any customers in the VIP section. So, we went to a private room.

Anna breathed a sigh of relief as she watched Galacta and Brian go into a private room.
'That was close,' She thought. 'They almost fucked in here.'
