ตอน 2: chapter 2
Year 1500: Shanks Pov: My eyes flew open only to land on the unfamiliar ceiling above me. I looked around myself before a splitting headache hit me. It lasted for about a minute . After it subsided , I took another minute to analyze shanks,now my memories. His/my most recent one hit me with sadness for a moment before I calmed down. Rogers' death was hard on the kid, and honestly, I can't blame him . Roger was his father figure. Well, as a great father figure the pirate king can be his apprentice, which is surprisingly great . By Shank's standards, the man was like that cool uncle who always looked out for you in hard times. Anyway, after getting myself together , I looked around me , only to find my bed and a bag next to it. Based on the memories, the bag should contain about a 100 million berries with a log pose to an unknown island. It also contain the saber ''Gryphon'', which Roger gifted to him before he disanded the crew.
I examined the bag just to make sure ,before I went to shower and change my clothes. After a cold shower, which gave me time to think and plan, I wore my clothes which consisted of short brown pants with red lines and a shirt with red and white lines along with a black cloak. I looked at the strawhat Roger gifted me, before putting it in the bag and walking out the small inn. As I walked the streets of Loguetown, I contemplated my future plans based on my knowledge. The first thing I should do is get stronger. While not weak right now, I don't have the strength that I need to do all that I need to . Right now, I should be as strong as luffy in his base form after the timeskip as I have already awakened my observation,armament, and my conqueror's haki , although they are all at the basic stages. My sword skills are lacking compared to people like mihawk for now ,but thank god I inherited the previous shanks experience and skill along with his current strength. Now , all i need's a ship, some strong opponents and some booze. As I finished contemplating my plan, I arrived at the sight of a dock with plenty of ships. I looked around to make sure no one was watching before boarding a random small one . I raised the sails and unhooked the anchor and in no time I was sailing. In no time, Loguetown started getting smaller and smaller before it disappeared from my line of sight. I went to the mast where I had previously placed my bag and took out a log pose and map that would direct me to Sabaody archipelago. After I made sure I was on the right track, I went up to look out of the small ship and sat on the hammock the owner must have put there. I looked at the rising sun before I sat down . I grabbed the strawhat before using it to shield my eyes as i layed down, marking my first day in the one piece world.
