The next day, inside class (A-13), Jin Wei sat in the same seat he had occupied yesterday with Victoria.

Unlike Mr. Smith, who manipulated young students, Professor Kazuki Takahashi was a genuine teacher who came to teach students about the importance of science.

In the novel, Professor Kazuki Takahashi is just a neutral character who never involved himself in any plot. He always remained busy with his research, and anything besides that didn't matter much to him. He didn't even want to become a teacher, but the military forced him, and now here he was.

"I am Professor Kazuki Takahashi, your new science teacher," he introduced himself with a completely gloomy and dead tone while standing before his desk. He resembled a dead man who hadn't slept for a week, and dark circles had formed under his eyes as if someone had used ink to create them artificially.

Just like in the novel, Victoria picked a bow and arrows as she thought it suited her ability. Jimmy picked a spear. Sakura picked a staff, and Joey picked a dagger. As for Ben, he picked a war hammer, and Ken picked Tonfas.

After everyone finished selecting their weapons, Aurora spoke, "Now that you all have picked your weapons, go self-train; I am busy with my work."

They thought Aurora would teach them how to use the weapons, as most of the students had never even used one before. But now, Aurora was telling them to self-study. What kind of joke is this?
