The remaining matches of the third round were all fierce. Since it was the last match for the day, everyone was bringing out their most powerful attacks, creating a beautiful but deadly exchange.

Quinlan watched everything with curious eyes, keeping all the new techniques he saw, memorizing them, and gradually dissecting each move to eventually learn how to use them.

The last match ended, and the time was near sundown. It was reasonable enough to go and have dinner, but Lady Moon and Xu Mei went away shortly after. Both had businesses to attend to, so they left Xiyadie and Quinlan by themselves, enjoying a lavish meal at the Dining Hall.

Of course, they couldn't have a quiet meal, as the "fans" of Xiyadie that were present didn't stop pestering her every now and then, asking for her to spar with them when she was free. While listening, Quinlan estimated that Xiyadie wouldn't have any vacant time for a month after the tournament ended.
