ตอน 52: Wine Cellar

Mark. My hand tightens around the refrigerator handle while I stare inside at its contents. How was I so wrong about him? The fact that I was is an important reminder as to why I can't trust anyone. I should have known better. 

I'm tempted to take care of Mark without waiting for Ivan's approval. I know Ivan would be just as pissed as I am that Mark didn't hesitate to try something with the woman supposedly carrying his child.

"I'm tired," Vanessa says with a yawn, and I turn around to see her in one of the new sweatshirts I got for her as she crosses the room to the kitchen island. "I think maybe I'll just go to bed." 

"You're not going to bed without eating." 

She doesn't say anything, but I notice an eye roll as she hops up onto one of the stools. 

"What sounds good?" I ask, returning my attention to the refrigerator. 

"Cereal." 

"Is that all you eat?" I chuckle. 

"It's easy."
