ตอน 10: Satoru Gojo
Year 2006
"How much further do I have to walkkk!" I say in annoyance.
"Just a bit further Yumiko." Mei Mei says while petting my head to sooth my anger.
"But we've been at this for ages!" I say kicking a can thats lying on thr floor.
"You do have a point. This may br the curses technique…" Mei Mei says before she starts to ponder.
"Stupid curse" I say as I shoot a beam of water into the wall. "Sigh, So how do we escape it?" I say finally taking time to cool down and rest.
"Hm well the first option, is to get help from outside. She says putting up one finger.
"But our phones dont work here…" I say showing my phone without service.
"And our second option is the find a loophole in the technique." She says putting up the second finger.
"But how do we do that? We've already been hit by it!" I say kicking my feet on the floorboards.
"…Well for one, that can that you kicked. We pass that around 5 times now." she says pointing at the can on the other side of the hall.
"That must means this barrier doesn't expand infinitely, but loops it over and over." She says before pointing in both directions.
"All we have to do is go in opposite directions so they can't reuse that space and find the barrier." She says finishing up.
I stand up to my feet and nod in agreement before walking behind Mei Mei. "Okay! On my mark!"
"3…2…1…Go!" I say only to take a step before a large explosion goes off, throwing us into the air momentarily before crashing down underneath the rubble of the house we were previously in.
"Yo! Im here to save you!" I hear coming from behind me from under the rubble. I quickly dig myself out much to my annoyance and turn to look at the cause of my misfortune…
"Yumiko~ You cryin?"
"Gojo… ISWEARTOGODWHENIGETMYHANDSONYOUYOU'REDEAD!!!" I say lunging at him with a blade made with water aimed at his neck.
"Woah calm down there lil Yumi~ it's just a joke!" Gojo says dodging my hits playfully, causing me to start to swing the blade even fast and more wildly.
"Die you piece of trash!" I yell out, managing to cut a sleeve from his shirt.
"Calm down you two. Don't act like children." I hear Geto call out while holding a curse orb. Probably the one we were here to capture.
"Ah, its Geto!" I say, ditching Gojo and running to his side. Unlike Gojo, Geto here atleast respects other people! Which is why I taken a liking too him, much to the displeasure of Utahime.
"So, how long were we in there?" I ask, looking around to find Mei Mei. "5 Days I think." Gojo says putting his glasses back on.
"Really? It felt like a few hours for us!" I say in shock. "It was probably due to the barriers difference in time." Geto says clearing any misinterptation.
"I should probably ask to get paid for that time." Mei Mei said walking up from behind me. "Anyway, where is the barrier?" She said causing both Geto and Gojo to freeze in place.
"Don't tell me you forgot the barrier…" I say in disbelief.
"It should be fine…right?" Gojo says trying to brush it off.
"Yeah hopefully!" Geto says walking past us.
They are so screwed.

Makima POV
Its been about a year since i've been staying with Tengen. Ever since our talk, she's realized that I am just a neutral side of Jujutsu. And ever since my evolution 3 major things happened,.. besides finally getting a proper wardrobe...
First the development of my 2nd cursed technique. Its a type of telekinesis, allowing me to send impacts of compressed air in the form of invisible bullets. I can also use it to speed up and increase the impact of my blows, which gives me an even bigger strength advantage than I already had.
Second. I've made a deal with Tengen. I have to help secure the Star Plasma Vessel to the Toumb of the Star, and I get my freedom. And made a second deal, if they die before they meet Tengen and she becomes a cursed spirit, for her protection I can register as a shikigami. As my Shikigami can teleport to me at will.
I can say with full confidence that this was an interesting experience though. Spending time with someone who has lived for thousands of years tends to rub off on you. Tengen doesn't feel like a friend to me but a mentor in some aspects.
She helped me refine my domain to a degree that I didn't think was possible. Aswell as being able to manipulate the barrier in many different ways. That goes to my third major development.
My domain has grew in lethality with the addition of my new cursed technique. Now when it's activated, it will activate the sure hit, making the target feel heavier while having their cells feel like they're being boiled inside of them. I got that effect by concentrating the telekinesis into the Medulla area of the brain that regulates your blood and your organs. Getting hit would feel like having organ failure in all organs simultaneously. But due to the nature of my domain, you won't die unless you fail to make a deal within 1 minutes of activation.
It can also now differentiate between enemies and allies based on cursed energy. That one took a bit of time to get down but using the advice from Tengen sure did help alot.
Overall, I think my strength grew exponentially! I might be able to pose a threat to Yuki Tsukumo if we were to encounter again.
"Makima… Are you seriously day dreaming again?" I hear a raspy voice call out next to me. Looking over, I see an old shriveled up woman, but don't let her looks fool you. Even at her current state she could seal me for hundreds or even thousands of years.
"What? Of course not Tengen. Now what were we talking about again?" I say brushing off the topic. "Sigh… what am I going to do with you… Today we will collect the star plasma vessel named Riko Amanai. I want you to observe and only intervene when she is truly in danger." She says tapping her hand on her chair.
"Got it! I can watch her in any way that I want right?" I say as a cheshire grin makes its way across my face. If i'm gonna do this, I atleast want it to be fun!
"Do as you please. Just remember what will happen if you fail." She said shooing me off like an annoyed mother. I giggle a bit at her antics before leaving towards the elivator. "Dont you worry your little head one bit! I will handle this." I say before the elavator doors finally close. This will be fun!

I rewrote this a couple a times because personally I didn't like it. Still dont like it as much but this is the prelude to the arc.
