ตอน 1: Marcus
Sitting on a cliff, Marcus looked towards the sea. Its have been 15 years since he was reborn into this world. Seeing the wave of sea and the sunset, Marcus reminisced his whole 15 years that he had been through.
His childhood life was a roller coaster. He was born into a huge clan which was called The Prescott Clan. His father, Roger was one of the elder of the clan.
Unknown to other people including his parents, Marcus was born his past memories intact. As he was growing up, he was always wondering what kind of world he was in. He had no information about outside world of the clan. The situation made him confused as he saw this clan had a lot of modern technology. But the only access he had was only about the clan and the island they lived on.
Either way, it doesn't matter much for Marcus. Even though he is the child of an elder, he didn't have talent to continue his father legacy. As a child of Prescott, Marcus was trained into martial art since he was 5. However, he was lacking talent as he constantly failed in his training.
He tried to motivate himself several times but his realty had proved that he was way behind his peers no matter how hard he tried. After five years of training, he was left in dust by his peers. While others children already practice into advanced techniques, he was still stuck in basic training.
However, Marcus was unwilling to accept his fate as he kept on his training. Even he was mocked by other children, he would only smile as he had passed the phase of raging in anger. He had decided to follow the inspiration of a man that had prove his life's conviction. The Might Guy.
The man who had gone against normal path and prove himself as one of the best shinobi of his world. Of course, Marcus wouldn't intend to follow his speech or the act of thanking people.
He would only smile when he was mocked as he realised that anger won't even solve the problems that he had.
Marcus went through his childhood as a fail child of a clan's elder. However, his parents never showed their disappointment towards him. They were always showering him with love and praised him for his hardwork.
Until one day, everything changed.
After the death of clan leader, his father had involved in civil war with his brothers for the right to become the next leader. While Roger didn't have any interest to be the next leader, he againsted the idea of his older brother, Phillip to become one. He was more inclined to support his youngest brother John instead.
The two fiction went into wars for two years. Unfortunately, John was killed in the wars and all his supporters went crumbled. Even though they were unwilling to submitted, their force had been thinned out through out the two years war. And with John's death, the force was falling apart faster especially after Roger'e refusal to take the spot John left behind. Roger decided to end this civil war as it was pointless to continue it anymore. Eventually, the war ended after Roger and his remaining force accept their lost.
Roger was kicked out of his position as elder and exiled after the war ended. Even though it was unfortunate. He accepted his fate.
However, the life wasn't going to be as he expected. After a few months of exile period, a clansman came to him to send a warning.
After becoming a clan leader, Phillip felt unsecured of his position even after exiled his own brother. Adding to that, the old elder who was still in favour of Roger repeatedly asked him to release his brother from exile.
Ultimately he came into conclusion that his brother need to die for him to have full control over the clan. He prepared to send an assassin squad to ended Roger and his family lives.
Knowing his situation, Roger decided to take his son and wife and ran to the sea and went out of the clan's influences.
Through out all the events, Marcus witness everything with his eyes opened.
After a few weeks of sailing, they finally landed on an island. Feeling the danger that the clan might come for him, Roger didn't stay long on the island. Having enough supplies, he brought his family to sail again. After a year of sailing finally Roger decided to stop and resided on a small island. Roger also decided to change their surname. Under Marcus suggestion, Roger accepted Rox D as their surname.
Two years had passed as Marcus and his parents were living on the island. Having access to the world's information, Marcus understood that this was Hunter x Hunter world. Looking at himself who was 15, Marcus shook his head as he understood that he still had no chance in this world. He was too weak.
Seeing the sunset had ended. Marcus stood up and walked back to his home. Entering the house, Marcus was surprised.
Bammm!!
Powmm!!
Tang!! Tang!! Tang!!
"Surprised!!!"
"Happy birthday Marcus!"
Together with their neighbours, Roger and his wife threw up a surprised birthday party for him.
Yeah, It was his 15th birthday. However, Marcus didn't expect that they will throw up a party for him. Usually, they would only have some sumptuous dinner and small celebration in the house.
His birthday party ended late at night. After all of the neighbours had returned, Marcus went to sleep.
