He only sought to leave a legacy behind because he was set to die by twenty-five years old. Becoming a blood drinking monster was not in his plans. But his plans derailed when his grandfather got him with one of his pranks even after he had been dead for one year already. And now, he found tied to someone else, a woman who, upon their first ‘meeting’, tied him to a chair, and threatened him.

If only he knew. He didn't care about fate, but fate did care about him. And that fate would bring out his heritage, and determine if he would live, and build his legacy into something bigger, or really die, after taking the first step.

Of course she got what she wanted, but not the last laugh, ending up tied to him in what could only be called a forced engagement. After all, only if she was his other half should she share his misfortune with him, just like the red string is forcing her, right?
