I have read till the latest chapters and story is good so far. You can see author has experience writing and the scenes feel natural and not forced. I also like the mentality of MC who only cares about his revenge and is not trusting of others. His wife from what we have seen till now is a nice character so far. Story is an interesting take on hero and demon king including hunters. Author is setting up the story well with many questions which we want to know like the quest system, hunters, demon world and truth being Mc resurrection. A very good story till now and will recommend everyone to at least give it a try before drawing any conclusions.

the novel is pretty good so far, it's well written, I like the story a lot, nothing is rushed and it's not too slow imo, I saw some people telling it became worse recently but I just can't agree at all, we still discover new things and the reaping/raiding concept seems pretty interesting too. it's good that the relationship with the queen is not rushed, I mean it's more realistic like that, she doesn't seems to be interested in him in any way and that would be disappointing to see her harbor romantic feeling so quickly when it starts from 0. I' m still at chapter 75 but ig we will see her "take notice" of him after this quick "Arc" finish. Anyway all of that to say that is one of my favorite novel and I hope the author continue like that and don't drop it, that would be frustrating to see such a good work stop.

A second review note just to make few things clear after seeing how some are still confused whether MC is evil or not. I mentioned in my previous review note that MC will definitely be a 'Demon' and that means he will be doing demonic things. This is also why I added the tag "Dark" to let readers know that things ain't going to be moralistic or flowery for the most part. As for my definition of evil it means someone who does bad stuff for no remotely compelling reason at all just like how some just like to watch the world burn for no reason. (Of course, some of you might have a different interpretation) But the MC of this novel isn't like that. He does everything for a reason no matter how twisted or illogical it might seem. That is why I didn't add the 'Evil' tag but sure he will be doing a lot of evil things according to our society. The harem also won't be a typical harem filled with only wholesome moments. I am not saying there won't be wholesome moments but the romance and harem dynamic...well, they are going to be not so mainstream as well. I hope this answers most of the questions people were previously confused about. Thanks for reading and feel free to leave any questions :D

This is the first novel I am writing where the MC's morals and actions can be questionable. But for those wondering if MC is 'evil' or not, it is quite a difficult question to answer since it all comes down to perspective. However, I can confidently say that he is a 'Demon' indeed. Those readers who like virtuous heroes or with certain righteousness in MC should think twice before reading.

pretty good novel, harem buildup is pretty good till ch 280~ Mc is b3coming stronger relatively faster then others if u think as, all the girls around him have been training since they were children. Main revenge as a whole is still a long ways. But it is going there. Hopefully he goes through with it. Rarely any novel ever does that. it be a nice change in reincarnation hero story.I would recommend everyone who likes harem and characters with actual personality who grow, this is a good one.

So far so good. Nothing really to complain about. All very positive results. Not to fond on the MC being betrayed by his loved ones but that's just me personally. The idea is good and it's a good start to the novel. Looking forward to seeing what this novel will become. Hopefully not too much betrayal. Would be cool to see some guilty individuals who regret what they did instead of being the heartless twits that are so commonly seen on this platform. Other than that, I'd say it's a good start.

TLDR: Rocky start but finds it’s footing soon enough, therefore worth a read. The beginning is rocky. The MC has a slow start that involves the traditional cliché of being derided from others for being a crippled but being allowed where he is due to his status as a consort. the plot starts to moving a bit faster after chapter 20, so stick around as it does get better. There are some plot developments that make little sense that are left opened for later explanations. MC is out for revenge, not a saint by any means, and seems to go the distance to get what he wants: power. Of course, he has not gone off the deep end… yet, as I am sure it will happen as some point. Characters include the traditional bunch of antagonists, a mixture of characters that have more depth that has yet to be seen, and gray characters. I’m currently at chapter 79 and a big moment just happened so I feel comfortable making a review now. I’m sticking with it for a while, as this author has delivered before. Updates are daily and grammar is of course better than majority on webnovel.

Like the other review states, the book is enjoyable so far, well written and interesting development. The authors other book ‘the bored immortal’ is still good after 500+ chapters so I have high hopes for this book. Definitely recommend it!

Some pretty good stuff. I think you do well to make his weakness bearable. The power system was just explained 30-35 chapters in but I was quite confused early on but no matter. Anyways this has some good potential and I’ll be following this (hopefully) daily, so don’t drop author :)

I’m only on chapter 108 as of now,but so far it’s been pretty well written and all of that. The characters are interesting and it feels like everyone has their own motivations ect and the MC is exactly as the author described in the synopsis. All in all it’s a good story so far,I think it has the potential to go on for a long time,I just hope it doesnt get dropped or something😂 Ight I’m outie✌️

Yeah like they are in a demon world and yes it is dark novel which it should be. Overall a great read! Nothing mayor to complain about. Maybe one problem it has it just doesnt have enough chapter.

I am a very prolific, yet picky reader, and even more so when it comes to light novels! But so far, I was thoroughly impressed with this book! I may have an inclination for villain/antihero protagonists, but this work nonetheless stands out in an ocean of ok-ish stuff!
