Eh, OP mc is not a problem until you make it one. If you do not focus on fights then power of your mc does not matter, at all. Other method that comes to mind, just don't show all of the power, unveil as needed. That way it makes less of an impact on storytelling.
I won't change much. But I'll change the time he spends in One Piece. That wasn't smart. I wrote myself against a corner there. I had something completely different planned acutally. I understand the problem with having a character that is this powerful makes the story suffer if he doesn't have times when he can use that power against stronger opponents. So that will change.
