It's hard to get immersed in the story when the characters start stuttering and ceasing. Instead of saying "Yeeeah" they go "Ye-e-e-a-ah". Which pulls you out of the reading.
"Yo-o-ou... From the tribes of Da-a-anu..." The gigantic Fomorian growled, drawing out his vowels, hefting a battered iron sword.
