While others were struggling on the brink of starvation to death, Li Yu was enjoying himself on the rooftop, having a barbecue and drinking beer.

A nice good story without system and just regression.The only thing I worry about this is how it would continue otherwise, this is just a story as the man himself already nuilt himself a bunker and amass food so he's practically safe along his family. The plot 100 chap later would either be repetitive or incredibly innovative or plain trash or would go down cliché of apocalyptic novels
the story is good. no super power and such, just plain mortal surviving. BUT there is double sometimes quadruple chapter with the same exact content. like we are paying coin(money) to unlock the chapter and you are giving us the same exact chapter again and again. hope you'll fix that.

Am now 87 chapters in and am very disappointed with the repeat chapters (9 so far) It’s a user pays system so I feel ripped off if I’m paying for something and not getting what I paid for. Also I am not Chinese so the genders being mixed up confuse me. Very disappointed.
I dislike how the author forced situations just to prove the Mc made the right choice.
Our MC regressed 5 years into the past before the apocalypse…the 5 yrs then became 3 months. I should have known by that how the novel was going to go, esp since that large discrepancy happened between chapters 1-2. 😩 I got over that and I enjoyed the way he built the bunker and took loans out for food, clothes, medicine, etc. I liked that he went back home to build it so he could save his family this time around. What I don’t like is Li Yu doesn’t know how to communicate nor does he apply the same rules for everyone not family. There was an instance where he saved his cop uncle. His uncle was accompanied by his police partner and the partner’s daughter. Once back at the base, there were some villagers who were demanding to be let in. Keep in mind that the apocalypse had just begun and not everyone viewed humans as untrustworthy. The daughter, partner and uncle wanted to let the villagers in but Li Yu said no. I had no qualms with that, but he should have explained his reasoning to them instead of acting like a sanctimonious jerk and saying nothing. They were cops so of course they were still in protection mode. The partner and daughter ended up leaving bc they thought he was evil and the following situation could have been avoided if Li Yu just explained why he wouldn’t let them in. After that I checked out bc he had let non family members in before and even tho his uncle vouched for his partner, Li Yu still did what he did. If he hadn’t, he would’ve had another strong and brave fighter to help defend the base and what followed wouldn’t have happened. 😒

this isn't a bad story. it's about a guy reincarnated 10 yrs in the past. I think it was 10, there is no system or game type stuff, and there's no gold finger. this is just a guy who came back with info about the future and runs with it. he builds a fortress and stocks it, so far he's a good guy to family but an evil bastage to anyone else, which is reasonable since he experienced the worst of people already so he knows what to look for. no game elements, just regular people trying to survive .
