This review is based on the 30 free chapters. In my honest opinion, this is a transmigration story where the MC has a super, unique golden finger but he rarely uses it. I think I understand why he doesn't use it often, trying not to raise any suspicions and whatnot. But I feel like he could have incorporated it smartly without raising any suspicions. How? I have no idea but I'm sure he could have taken small sips here or there or cleansed the pills he received or went herb hunting right below the sect or something. Who knows. All I'm saying is, if there's a will, there's a way! Aside from that, MC doesn't seem too bad. Compliant while cautious. There seems to be a lot of action with steady progress. Remember to check out the story before jumping to conclusions. Plenty of free chapters!

Hat down to the author for avoiding the majority of xianxia tropes and building a weak to strong story with what's essentially a run of the mill cultivator with almost no cheats. It's honestly almost more of a slice of life story compared to most cultivation novels. Anyways, for those with a bit more patience for a slower story with great world building and well written characters, I highly recommend.

It is an amazing Xianxia novel. It has unique story telling style. Even though the genre is mostly slice of life, it perfectly combines action, mystery and many other genres. I can say that it is the number one Xianxia novel I have read in terms of closeness to real life. Yes, it's not a masterpiece, but it has everything that's good. No iconic scenes, just like in real life... Just read and realize how amazing this novel is.

I'm putting this temporary review here. I just want to express my bafflement before an actual review. Basically the story is good so far, solid work, no golden finger tho (well he should have, but at the same time I have no clue, he rarely uses it that I've forgotten it exists) no systems, steady stuff which is fine. I'm just wondering why the mc is a transmigrator in the first place. He doesn't use modern knowledge to improve his system of cultivation or beast taming (at least not up to the chapter I'm reading) his personality doesn't conflict with the original body so there's no conflict with blending in the family. there's no conflict or exploration with the old and new world either besides the occasional mention of having a 9-5 lifestyle or something of that sort. basically, why is this a transmigration story in the first place? no system, no golden finger (not really) no modern stuff, no conflict with melding into the world, no exploration of the differences between the 2 worlds. I'll change my ratings more in the near future, just confusing.
I really love this novel. I loved the MC, and I loved that the story is slowpac. The world-building is amazing ( it doesn’t tell you everything directly but the hints is grete, so it never feels limited), The characters feel realistic, and I especially liked the absence of a golden finger, it’s a grete novel.
one of the bad novels i read because it has one of the worst useful useless golden finger artifacts and the MC thinks that it is some kind of heaven defying treasure. it has zero usefulness. it would been better if author did not even included the artifact in the novel.
This story was good but not all good some time it had repeat same sentence many times, from you can't understand who male lead talking to male or female. last if you enjoy beast taming and family development try this webnovel.
I read the description and the book looks good but the description isnt enough!! Honestly it needs more... is there a system or not??? What about the MC having girls?? What kind of beasts do the MC get?? Is there tournaments and things like that?? like come on there isnt a lot of information to qork with and honestly Im not going to waste my time when I dont know more about the book!! Loke I said it looks good but there isnt enough information to start reading it and have my time wasted if I dont like it!! I would rather read something else thathas a better description and know more about what I am going to read!!
I have read till 775 Chapter. Most perfect novel for people who like weak to strong, side characters development, weak golden finger, clear power levels, beasts, and steady progress. Story pace is a bit slow. Character building is good as MC is not invincible and has to compromise sometimes. Beast are helpful and not super overwhelming, and similarly, MC and Clan relationship is balanced, helping and supporting each other. Clan strength building is great and steady, with every member feeling different and unique. Strong members get a time to shine.
