The armory was fairly close to the archive room.

Thankfully, the first code Apophis had tried on the archive door did, indeed, open the armory door.

However, it seemed that the Zetark had cared more about weapons than about documents when they fled this base long ago. When Apophis entered the armory, he unfortunately found it nearly empty.

However, one particular item in a display case caught his attention.

Eventually, though, a wave of fatigue flooded Apophis, and he realized that he wasn't likely to find anything further. It was now time for Apophis to disconnect and rest in the real world.

Before doing so, he used his new ~Cosmic Meditation~ Skill to increase his maximum Energy by 10%, then opened his character menu to check his status.

He put 5 more Skill Points into ~Firebending~, giving him access to blue flame.

This was not only far hotter than his original red flame, but would also receive a huge boost in effectiveness from ~Chaos Flame~.

Apophis put his last 5 Skill Points into a new skill called ~Energy Regeneration~, which did exactly what the name implied—increased his Energy regeneration in battle. That would be immensely helpful in fights like the one against the Proto Spiders.

At long last, Apophis logged off.

Alexander opened his eyes, exhausted. He'd been playing for almost twelve hours straight. This body, the body of a student, wasn't used to it, and all his muscles felt stiff.

He performed some stretches and light exercises in his room, then got ready for bed and tried to fall asleep quickly.

Though Alexander would only be able to get a few short hours of sleep, his brain needed a rest. He wished he could sleep for as long as possible, but the Zetark girl's quest meant that he needed to waste as little time as he could.

So Alexander set the alarm clock to wake him in four hours, then fell asleep.

His dreams were full of strange, otherworldly beings, including one woman who kept trying to tell him something that he couldn't understand.

When he later woke up, Alexander didn't remember a single detail.
