I thought long and hard of the development ability that I wanted. Through the process of elimination, I ended up with a choice between mage and spirit healing. Some may say there are better ones but I already had poison resistance as an innate race skill and I also had charm resistance. Hunter, mixing, fall damage resistance, enhanced strike and abnormal resistance weren't as appealing as the magic aiding options, well except for enhanced strike as that would up my melee effectiveness. I thought long and hard and came to a conclusion.

"I have made my choice" said Draco.

"Tell me" replied Bahamut.

"It's Mage" I said, but she didn't look surprised. She then noticed my confused look to her non reaction and explained.

"Considering the ability effects and your personality, I guessed you would go for mage or spirit healing" she said while puffing her chest.

"But are you sure of this choice? There is no coming back after choosing" asked Bahamut to make sure of my choice.

"Yes I am sure" I replied before my mind wavered. After which she gave me my status sheet.

Slot 1: Rune spell grimoire: Summons a grimoire containing runic signs. When signs are cast with the grimoire as medium to skip chants. The user only has to draw the rune of an element, provide mind and have a clear image to cast spells. Note as the user levels up, higher tier rune elements will be unlocked along with better mind efficiency when casting rune spells and spell potency will increase.

Skills:

Equilibrium: Gives a slight boost to lower stat till they balance out with the highest stat.

Charm resistance: Grants mental resistance to the charm debuff.

Mage I: Improves power, widens effect range, and makes mind usage efficient. Creates a magic circle under the user that support the magic.

"Finally level 2, in 9 months no less. My hard work paid off. Don't you think so too" I said to Bahamut as she seemed genuinely happy for me.

"Yes, I am proud of you" she said as she jumped and hugged me. After a while she released me and called Lili in the room to tell her the good news.

"So what will you do the rest of the day" Bahamut asked after telling Lili about my level up.

"Hmm, I will go to the guild to sell my loot and talk to my advisor. After that we will go out and celebrate, I have a place in mind". I said as I left the bed to get ready to head out.

"Ok, have a safe trip and I will be going to Hephaestus place today, can you escort me there" she said as she went back to the room to grab her cloak.

I dropped Bahamut and Lili at the Hephaestus manor after a while. I didn't get to talk to Hephaestus for long as she seemed busy for a while or was she avoiding me because of my love confession. Well either reasons didn't matter as I would win her over someday.

Arriving at the guild with my usual dark cloak hiding my features. I looked around for Rose and soon found her.

"Good day to you Rose" I said in a cheerful tone. Strange since I hadn't even shown Rose my face yet. We have known each other for a while now and for some reason she didn't seem curious so I always let it be that way.

"Oh good day to you too Draco, how are you. You haven't come to the guild the past two days. I was worried something might have happened" she said in a worried tone.

"Oh sorry, I was in the dungeon for a while and when I returned, I was too tired so I went home to sleep and came in today" I replied.

"Which brings me to why I am here currently, I want to sell my dungeon loot, report a strange monster and report my level up to the guild" I said, almost whispering as I didn't want others to know until I got an alias.

"...…"

Rose was silent for a while as she failed to process what I just said.

"You levelled up" she said while I tried to shush her and hoping nobody heard. Seeing my gesture. She lowers her voice.

"When and what monster" she said whispering back.

" I levelled up this morning" I replied. I then proceeded to tell her about the series of events that led to my level up. She was annoyed with me for going to the 15th floor but was more shocked by the fact that I beat a monster assumed to be level 3.

"Do you have proof" she asked as it was protocol to present something as proof.

"Yes, I have its magic stone and fur drop" I said while bringing out and handing them to her for inspection.

We talked about several things for a while as I sold my other loot from the dungeon to the guild. After which I left for the Hephaestus familia to pick up my goddess and Lili. It was finally time to go to the hostess of fertility to celebrate and hopefully, I get to talk with Hephaestus before we leave to celebrate.

I quickly arrived at the manor. The guards let me in as they had seen me drop off my goddess earlier that day and knew me from the various visits that I had made with Bahamut.

Upon entering Hephaestus office, my eyes were met with the unexpected sight of three women and a girl in various states of undress. It was apparent that they were in the process of changing, as clothing lay scattered about the room.

I felt my face flush with embarrassment, unsure of how to proceed. The women seemed unfazed by my sudden arrival, continuing their task at hand without interruption. I quickly made my exit, feeling like an unwelcome intruder in their private moment. The three women were Hephaestus, Bahamut and whom I assumed to be Tsubaki and the girl being Lili.

A few minutes later, I heard a voice.

"You can come in Draco" Bahamut said as everyone looked fully dressed but had flushed faces. This showed that they were a bit embarrassed too but put on stoic faces, well except Lili.

"I apologize for my abrupt entry, i didn't know you girls were changing" I said while slightly bowing in apology.

"…..".

Silence filled the room till it was broken by Bahamut's voice.

"So did you like what you saw" Bahamut said in a teasing voice. I had no idea what to say. If I said a lie, I might get beaten and the same would happen if I said the truth. Since I might get beaten either way might as well say my true thoughts, well to everyone except Lili as she just looked confused.

"Yes I did , you all looked sexy. Well except the growing Lili, she will grow up to be a fine lady. Ah where are my manners, I am Draco black, captain of the Bahamut familia. I believe we haven't met before" I said while trying to change the topic with an introduction to the person I assumed was Tsubaki. I removed my cloak during the introduction.

Suddenly the lady dashes towards me and drew me into a hug. Her actions surprised me as most people would be wary after seeing my draconic features.

"Aaah leave Draco Onii chan alone" said Lili as she tried to defend me. I chuckled at her attempts.

"Ahem, Tsubaki introduce yourself and let him go" said Hephaestus while beckoning Tsubaki to let me go.

"Ah yes, I am Tsubaki Collbrande, captain of the Hephaestus familia" she said while still tightly hugging me with the massive lumps on her chest.

Hephaestus then got up and pulled me away from her. To which I was happy about, because it meant that I had a chance.

"Is the great Hephaestus sama, choosing that boy over me" said Tsubaki teasingly. This got a reaction from Hephaestus as her face turned red. Though she called me boy, I couldn't complain as I was indeed one for now. I was short and still more cute than handsome but I would soon be considered an adult.

"W.wh.at are you talking about, he just looked uncomfortable" Hephaestus managed to reply in a stuttering voice.

We had a lot of fun in Hephaestus place till it was evening and time to go celebrate my level up which we did for a little while with Hephaestus and Tsubaki.

Tsubaki had brown skin, long black hair, red eyes and wore an eyepatch, similar to Hephaestus. However her eye patch covered the opposite side. She had a well endowed chest which she keeps in a sarashi. She was currently 30 and I didn't know her current level. But she should be around level 3 or 4 as it was still around 7 to 8 years before canon.
