Chương 78: Wipe out part 2
The Holy Angel flew in the fog, not sure of her target, the silver fox had shot lightning in several locations but to no avail. The fog consumed their efforts as their perception of depth was warped.
Han Yan parried another strike of the Black Knight, when she saw Bian fighting off against moment queen, it was finally time to act.
Having studied the energy flow of the knight, she gained some distance from it and raised the marble katana which was currently fortified by the white general aura beast soul.
With a forceful strike, the knight which was 10 feet away was miraculously struck by the blade, sending it hurling into one of the buildings nearby.
Han Yan summoned a fan beast soul which was of the sacred blood variety. She studied the fog around her for a moment before fanning it in one specific direction.
The one time beast soul produced a large windstorm blowing away the fog and revealing a weird creature within which was unharmed.
White lightning struck the creature while it was still outside the fog stunning it for a moment. The holy angel and the silver fox chased after the creature while Han Yan had to focus back on the knight.
The few super creatures she hunted were either injured or had weak defenses, even then it took her days to kill one as she lacked a decent weapon. The knight on the other hand had very good defense, so even though she wouldn't miss her strikes with the falsified sky sutra, she couldn't deal enough damage to the knight to finish it off at once, not that she wanted to anyway.
Moment Queen and Bian were in a stalemate, he had a gray aura on his body and a pair of fairy blue wings on his back. The gray aura was the beast soul of the brutal spider monkey which he had killed before.
It allowed him traverse any landscape without difficulties which he used for escaping and countering moment queen. Although the wings of the sky fairy mermaid allowed him to fly, using such speed against Moment Queen was tantamount to suicide.

The fog around the shelter cleared as clarity was once again given to everyone present. Bian was standing on the side of a building without any stress with the aid of the body add-on and the energy flow of the brutal spider-monkey.
Moment Queen teleported once more taking Bian by surprise as she nearly stabbed him through his heart. At the last moment, he barely managed to dodge and get his hands on Moment Queen.
Changing his energy flow to that of the thorned menace, all the hair on his body stood on edge making him look like a human porcupine. The standing hair were incredibly sharp and study as they dug into the injuries of Moment Queen causing her to yell, as she elbowed him in the stomach and teleported away.
Without him simulating the energy flow of the spider-monkey, the body add-on couldn't keep him on a vertical platform with only two feet. He used the fairy wings to descend as he observed Moment Queen who was glaring daggers at him.
"Don't blame me, I also don't like using it" Bian had dismissed the energy flow of the thorned menace which caused his hairs to relax as the blood sucked out of Moment Queen seeped out of them.
Luckily he had deactivated it immediately she hit him or else her blood would have been assimilated into his system. Massaging his stomach which was bruised he looked at the floating orbs of energy all around them.
When Holy Angel had killed the mist creature all the fog in the shelter disappeared which gave Moment Queen clarity to observe the energy bombs he had planted everywhere.
Since she wasn't actually teleporting but moving very fast using time powers, she couldn't carelessly rush at Bian as she had to avoid these bombs.
Suddenly Moment Queen's face paled and she turned to look at the shelter where Han Yan had was currently running to, the Holy Angel and silver fox fought against the Knight which seemed to be on its last legs with several marks and cuts on it's armor.
Bian moved to intercept Moment Queen, rushing to her front and obstructing the path but she did not rush towards shelter, instead she stood still as the pupils of her eyes became wider. The white of her eyes turned black and her armor was suddenly wreathed in a black flame.
Her energy levels were rapidly rising as she turned to face Bian. A dangerous premonition lit up in his subconscious, which brought up the image of the lightning rune in his mind before he even chose to take action.
'Is this the power of the Intent Mantra' Bian was more than delighted with his body's subconscious response. If he had this earlier, he wouldn't have been kidnapped by the cruel shrike.
'I can't let her charge it any further' Bian thought. When he and Han Yan raided a shelter earlier, he had five sacred beast souls but gave most of them away to the new leader of liberty shelter as they would be useless against super spirits.
In his free time in the alliance, he had evolved a sacred-blood shield to become berserk. A small red buckler appeared in his arms as he charged towards moment Queen preventing her from finishing her charge up while also activating a transformation beast soul.
Space seemed to collapse between them as she disappeared and reappeared right in front of Bian. He had positioned his shield to block her punch but still had to readjust it at the last moment.
The berserk sacred blood shield broke without much resistance the blow continued unabated landing on the massive arms of a silver gorilla sending it hurling backwards.
Moment Queen paid him no heed as she hurriedly teleported to the spirit shelter, bypassing Bian. He transformed back and chased after her but she had gone far ahead of him.
As he reached the doors of the shelter, he saw Han Yan holding the spirit stone in her hands as Moment Queen bowed before her. She put the stone in the spirit's forehead and it disappeared into her.
"Hurry lets go finish off those two beasts before they run away" Bian ran towards the battlefield but he didn't need to worry much. With the occasional lightning from the silver fox, both the four legged snake and the Knight were suppressed and could not escape.
"I have been waiting since like forever" Man Tian who was covered in blood and sweat said. Bian moved and caught the tongue of the snake that was trashing about like a whip.
He transformed into a three meter tall silver gorilla and used the tongue of the snake as a garrote to choke the creature. The snake trashed about but could not push off the gorilla, with one final pull, a snap was heard and the movement of the snake ceased.
[Super creature Quadruped Reptilian killed. The beast soul has been acquired. Consume its life geno essence to gain zero to ten super geno points randomly. Meat Inedible]
The body of the snake disappeared leaving behind a brown life geno essence. The silver gorilla charged at the knight, ignoring the slash to its chest as it slammed it into the ground.
With consecutive punches the silver gorilla kept pounding the knight who so desperately tried to fight back but to no avail.
[Super creature Steel-Knight king killed. The beast soul has been acquired. Consume its life geno essence to gain zero to ten super geno points randomly. Meat Inedible]
The green light within faded, leaving the armor and the black greatsword wielded by the steel knight.
Bian transformed back and said, "With that all the super creatures are dead and this shelter is ours for the taking"
"How do we share the loot?" Man Tian asked, they had gained several beast souls and life geno essence in this battle.
"Come to think of it, how do you absorb life geno essence?" Bian asked Man Tian. Han Yan also perked up her ears as she listened.
"There is a technique in the arts I cultivate that allows it."
"So you can absorb any type of essence?" Han Yan asked.
"Yup pretty much"
"Well I have two life geno essence back in the crystal ship I got from first generation super creatures. I will bring them here since Bian and myself can't absorb them"
"Actually I can" Bian sheepishly smiled as he said, "But I need to have seen the creature alive so I could study its energy flow."
"But wouldn't it be obscured and blurry?" Han Yan almost began to wonder if they were practicing different variations if the dongxuan sutra.
"It has something to do with my second genelock, I don't really have a way to explain it" Bian said with a smile.
Han Yan "..."
While Han Yan went to bring the Life Geno essence, Bian, Man Tian, the Holy Angel and the silver fox made their way to the spirit shelter along with all the life geno essences scattered about.
