Chương 18: Ron and Neville's Resolution

The next day morning Harry, Ron and Neville were having their breakfast together. Ron had woken up by himself, because he didn't stay up late and the main reason was, he didn't want to disappoint Harry and stop, being friends with him.

Ron POV

I can see that Harry was a smart and very talented, and when he explained the subject's, I was able to understand it and actually enjoyed studying for the first time of my life.

I am from a pure blooded, but unlike others we were very poor. When wizards are young their family usually hire's tutors to teach them before going to wizarding school, around the age of 11 but Weasley family can't afford tutors.

My mother was the one who taught my brothers, myself and my sister at home before Hogwarts. I was teased regularly by my brothers, calling me the stupid child of the Weasley family but I knew that my brothers were just messing with me, but still it hurt me.

Even my younger sister was much better than me in academics, but no matter how hard I tried, I couldn't make any progress. I even knew that, my parents were worried about me future.

When Harry taught me yesterday, it was like all the sudden my foggy mind was cleared and I could understand the topic with ease.

When I wrote my own thoughts about the assignment topic and listened to Harry's review about my paper, I felt my confidents build up and I could learn anything if I wanted too.

I didn't want to let go of this feeling, because all the teasing and even my sister performing better than me, had take a toll on me, so I was even ready to hug Harry's leg, never let go if I can recover my confidents and improve my academics, to prove that i am not stupid to everyone.

Harry didn't ask me too much, he just said that if I was ready to work hard then the he was ready to help, so here I am, motivated and ready to work hard and do anything Harry says to prove every one wrong.

Neville POV

To me, Harry image was like close to Dumbledore in my mind, because I had already tried to study the first-year material using tutors arranged by my grandmother, but there weren't any positive results and my grandmother would always scold me.

But yesterday I enjoyed studying under Harry's guidance and with his explanation I was able to understand it easily and even draw my own conclusion's about the topic, so I decide to always follow Harry.

I was scared of his grandmother but if my academic's improved, then I didn't have to worry about anything, so I decided to follow Harry. I knew that Harry woke up early, so I also got up early.

3rd Person POV

Both Ron and Neville were reading the referral book form the library in one hand and have their food with the other hand. Harry was having his breakfast and sometimes when they had doubts, he would explain it to them.

Harry found it amusing, seeing both of them working so hard to improve themselves. Harry understood that the standard method of studying didn't work for them, so all he did was explain the topic with easy and understand sentences and then gave the textbooks, were when they read it and they are able to grasp it easily form the textbook.

All they need to do was have a starting point which was understood by them on the topic they are learning and after that they are able to correlate with the textbook.

They weren't dumb, they just didn't know how to directly understand the content of the books. Harry was happy for them because this can be solved with few different study methods and from then on, they can take care of their own studies without help from others and in the future, when he teaches them Occlumency they can perform even better.

During breakfast Ron's brother Percy, saw Ron having breakfast with a textbook in hand, which was very unusual and looked confused, but he moved on to meet his friends.

But when the twins Fred and George saw this seen they approached their brother with curious look, because they had never seen him so focused on a textbook like this in their life.

"What your reading, Roony?" asked the twins together

Both Ron and Neville turned their head and looked at the twins

"Harry's helping us study" replied Ron and concentrated back on the book because it was actually fun to study if he didn't get confused

Taken back by Ron's focus on the textbook, they looked at Harry who was calmly eating his breakfast and smiled at him

"Thanks Harry, for helping our stupid brother" said Fred and George together which made Ron shiver slightly, which wasn't noticed by anyone except Harry

Harry replied "He's not stupid guys" to which the gave a confused including Ron and Neville

"Normal study method doesn't work for some students so I'm just teaching both of them a new method which I think will bring better results for them"

They just nodded and left to do their own thing.

"Don't worry both of you, just trust me and work hard and I'll make all those who mocked you tong tied, with your final results" Harry said and went back to his breakfast.

Both Ron and Neville were even more fired up, which further strengthened their resolution and wanted to prove everyone that they are wrong.

Hermione and Parvati also joined them and after breakfast they left to class.
