Chương 161: Teaching

===================

Pepper Potts didn't stay on Long Island for long. After confirming that Daisy had no immediate plans to meet Stark, she eagerly went to deal with the contracts for wind power plants and waste treatment facilities.

The supercomputer didn't make any money; instead, it incurred significant expenses in terms of labor and resources. From her business perspective, it was a significant loss.

However, to keep Daisy away from Stark and avoid any excuses for them to meet, Pepper paid the engineers a substantial amount in overtime and urged them to complete the installation and debugging as quickly as possible. The public reason was the customer is God and other customer-centric phrases.

As the installation of the supercomputer reached the mid-stage, Danger also used this time to translate some of Mandarin's notes.

Daisy quickly checked the translations but found her brow furrowing after just two minutes—she still couldn't understand!

Literally analyzing it, it wasn't an anecdote but rather Mandarin's reflections and experiences written during his hikimori cultivation.

Initially, Daisy thought Mandarin was a cultivator following the Daoist path. Now it seemed entirely wrong; he looked more like a practitioner of tantric Buddhism, with many terms like "three meridians and seven wheels" and other mysterious descriptions.

The text was written in Chinese, Mongolian, and Manchu, and even included a lot of Sanskrit. Danger spent quite some time searching for information and cross-referencing, ensuring that the translation was accurate.

However, Daisy still couldn't understand these sentences, which is like the so-called "recognizing each word individually but not understanding them when combined."

The proper way to wear the ten alien rings remained unknown.

Mandarin's mind was quite imaginative. He based his theories on tantric Buddhism's three meridians and seven wheels, with each corresponding to a ring. The rings with the most potent abilities—mind control, matter manipulation, and atomic slicing—corresponded to the left meridian, central meridian, and right meridian, respectively.

The other seven energy rings corresponded to the seven wheels.

To quickly establish contact with the atomic slicing ability, Daisy also decided to try these three meridians.

Dressed in yoga attire—a camisole and bell-bottom pants—Daisy sat cross-legged on the floor. In front of her, a tablet played a supposedly beginner-friendly video about the three meridians and seven wheels.

She compared the introductory video with Mandarin's notes while soothing her mind, slowly searching for the so-called energy sense and the legendary three meridians.

Dumpling passed by her room and saw that she was practicing with a frowning expression, and happily went out to play.

After practicing for five minutes, Daisy realized that something was wrong—very wrong!

The online introductory videos on the Internet were all fake, with no energy sense whatsoever. Instead, they nearly put her to sleep!

Searching again, repeatedly searching, she finally found a photocopied version of a handwritten manual from an ancient museum exhibit—probably notes left by an ancient monk for his disciples.

"This is ridiculous!" Daisy glanced at it and almost smashed the tablet.

These high-level tantric monks were all monks! In other words, they were all men. The cultivation methods were also exclusively focused on men.

Female practitioners had to engage in cultivation with a master to receive guidance. Unfortunately, these experiences and secrets were not recorded in text and were now nearly impossible to find.

From the perspective of modern literature, anyone can practice these so-called chakras, but it can be inferred from the ancient texts that this is a proper male-centric practice method. Daisy roughly understood that the left meridian led to the right egg, while the right meridian led to the left egg. As for the central meridian, it naturally leads to the stick. But she has no tools in this life, so what can she do?!

As for replacing them with female organs? The internet says it's okay but the masters haven't studied it! As for asking the real Tantric Buddhist master who is still alive in the world, what nonsense. The only authority alive on this matter just had his finger cut by Daisy and fell into the Himalayas. Even if he was fished out, really think the Mandarin will help with this problem?

Is there really no alternative method? She searched repeatedly, and the final results were regrettable. The three meridians and seven wheels could only be studied by males. Females could practice, but if any side effects occurred, the masters wouldn't take any responsibility.

Left meridian, central meridian, right meridian—she couldn't sense any of them, let alone the seven wheels.

She flipped through the available Tantric Buddhist texts, all of which used the three meridians and seven wheels as the foundation.

Mandarin's theory was even more simple and profound. Without any foundation and only having some experiences rather than secret teachings, she could only treat it as a hobby and flip through it when she had nothing else to do.

"Don't practice!" The methods of the predecessors were completely ineffective, leaving not much room for reference.

Fortunately, the rings weren't crafted by the Buddhist masters. There was still hope. Daisy instructed the artificial intelligence to continue collecting information and decipher the alien languages within the rings. Once the supercomputer was in place with the arc reactor installed, Daisy wanted to see how long a small ring could endure!

Lorna had been carefree and played wildly for two days, and after realizing that no one was really looking after her, she felt a bit lost. She sought out Daisy, hoping to master her abilities with her guidance.

Daisy, however, was depressed by the three meridians and seven wheels. She had moved a recliner under a palm tree and was napping.

Lorna, seeing her guardian's lack of effort, was speechless. She used to dream hoping nobody would care about her, but now she feels uncomfortable now that it's come true.

She lightly shook Daisy's arm until she woke up. Then, she bit her lip and said, "I don't think I'm a mutant. Since that day, my ability hasn't appeared again. Can you teach me?"

Having witnessed Daisy's teleportation and gravity manipulation, Lorna had persistently believed that Daisy was a mutant. She couldn't discern the strength of Daisy's abilities and envied the fact that Daisy showed no genetic abnormalities, completely blending into normal life.

Lorna couldn't do it, the chefs in the villa, and the cleaners, were all shocked when they saw her green hair at first as if she was some monster.

Daisy didn't know how mutants were trained in their early stages, and could only follow Sebastian's approach to deal with a young Magneto. She brought over a table from a nearby spot, took out a coin, and signaled Lorna to make the coin fly.

"Focus your attention. Treat your powers as an instinct rather than deliberately trying to do something."

"Don't look at me, look at the coin. Imagine how it would dance in the air."

Lorna tried for five minutes, her face turning red, but the coin remained obediently on the table.

"...You're quite stupid." Daisy commented on the side, earning an irritated glare from Lorna.

The young girl persisted for another five minutes but still couldn't grasp it. Seeing her struggling, Daisy became anxious herself, and had no choice but to step in and demonstrate.

"Let me show you! Although I can't directly control magnetic force, you can get a feel for how it operates." She motioned for Lorna to observe carefully.
