Chương 29: Chapter 28: A Cosmic Horror
*Some time later*
*Bang*
After getting out of the car I approached the driver's door and said.
Tadano: "Thank you for bringing me and sorry for the inconvenience Dante-San"

*Sigh*
Tadano: "Well, it seems like the time has come… I just hope to make it to tomorrow alive… if I remember correctly, tomorrow is the medical exams and it's probably also time to elect a class representative. I blanched when I saw what was embedded in the wall.

Her HP was normal. So I assumed she was and didn't look at her other stats.

Before I continued my chaotic ramblings another sandal/heavy artillery projectile. It shot in my direction, by the time I realized it it was too late and it hit me square in the face, knocking me to the ground.
Strangely it didn't hurt too much.
Although Wall-Kun behind me doesn't seem to have suffered the same fate.
When I looked somewhat dazed by the blow, I looked in the direction from which the sandal-shaped anti-tank projectiles came. I was able to see my mother.
Oh shit!
Her face still had the same smile as always, but a darkly dangerous aura surrounded her.
And squinting her eyes I could see a pair of red pupils that promised a lot of pain.
I quickly stood up and raised both hands to try to appease this Lovecraftian beast that was threatening to take my life.
Tadano: "M-mom! W-Wait! Please calm down okay? We can talk about it! Please put down that sandal! I'm too young to die!"
I said quickly in succession the fear I felt was so great that my legs were shaking.
Jeanne: "Tadano Hitohito! These are arrival times?! Don't you know how worried I was?! Don't you think abou..."
My mother was scolding me savagely, until she stopped when she saw my battered clothes with slight traces of blood, as well as my bandaged knuckles.
At that moment the cosmic horror being disappeared and in its place she left a fragile woman who began to cry while she ran in my direction.
Jeanne: "WUAAAAHHH!!! My Hito-Chan what did they do to you! Is that blood?! Resist, mom will quickly take you to a hospital! Don't leave mom! "Mom couldn't bear to lose her baby!"

This woman had treated me like her own son and had shown me her immense love at all times since we met, both my current self and my past memories of merging with Tadano. I would more than repay all the sacrifices she made for me.
I gently stroked her hair, while she hugged me.
It was a nice mother-son moment, but it was quickly broken by an indignant Hitomi.
Hitomi: "Ah! That's not fair mom! You didn't punish him! You didn't scold him much either! At least a couple of flip flops were necessary! How you can see the favoritism!"
Hitomi ranted.
She was outraged that I wasn't torn apart by the cosmic entity she turns into my mother when she's angry.

Taking advantage of this, I stuck my tongue out of her and made a mocking expression towards my grumpy little sister.
She rolled her eyes and pointed her finger at me.

She said as she turned to leave.
Before he lifted a foot I said.
Tadano: "Hey! Catch!"
With a thought a bottle of creamy strawberry smoothie materialized in my hand. Taking my hand away from my mother's head for a moment, I threw it to Hitomi.
I knew this was her favorite, she bought them whenever she had money.
also I knew that she hadn't been able to drink one lately because she was saving for a new blouse.

I am in the kitchen preparing dinner.

Unfortunately she doesn't have my agility,so she was hit anyway.
Hitomi: "UGGHH…"
Jeanne: "Mooh∼ Mi-chan you shouldn't talk like that… Hito-Chan is trying hard to feed us even though he is hurt."
Hitomi: "*Sigh* it's okay… *Cough* *Cough* my beloved Onii-Chan ∼ that you will cook for us… Hitomi is hungry ∼"
Hitomi said using a cute little girl voice.
A chill traveled all my body.
And I said quickly.
Tadano: "Don't do that again… Or I won't give you "Those" again" I said with a serious tone.
Hitomi wanted to complain but the threat was too much for her, she didn't want to let go of that divine elixir.
This is how we pass the time with jokes and laughter.
At bedtime both of us. Mother and daughter made a "peculiar" request of me.
Jeanne and Hitomi: "Sing us to sleep"
Tadano: "…Huh?"
Jeanne and Hitomi: "Please!"
Tadano: "Okay."
After sitting them both on the sofa, I sang them some calming melodies using my ability to completely relax them and make their sleep more comfortable.
Then I carried them each to her room and tucked them in.
I felt more like a father than a Son/Brother.
*The next day*
I was walking thoughtfully about my action plan for today.
Should I show the full power of my stats?
Or should I act normal?
After a moment of reflection I decided to show myself.
The system wanted me to stand out and if I didn't it would start to influence me, so this was the best, at least it wouldn't bother me for a while.
