Chương 12: Chapter 12
After finishing my meal, I called Kaho for the bill so I could pay and leave for who knows where. Kaho handed me the receipt, and I paid it in cash. I stood up from my seat, noticing Kaho fidgeting. She kept looking at my eyes and then averting her gaze repeatedly. I kept my mouth shut and waited for her to ask for it.
At the bar counter, while watching Oreki and Kaho, Maika and Mafuyu were observing the two, or more specifically, they were watching Kaho trying to muster up the courage to ask for something. Maika found it cute that Kaho was doing something different for a change, while Mafuyu felt something strange about the interaction.
Mafuyu, who was older than you might think, whispered to Maika, "Hey, do you think Kaho is acting weirdly in front of him?"
Maika looked at Mafuyu, confused. "What are you talking about? She's just trying to ask for something."
"Then why is she taking so long? Just ask," Mafuyu said, then she smiled and added, "Or maybe she likes him, that's why she's acting weird."
"No, she just told me that she needs a guy friend," Maika nodded sagely, reassured that Kaho wouldn't be her rival.
As if Mafuyu reading Maika mind, Mafuyu say " A guy friend can evolve to a boyfriend, you know that right?"
"What!" Maika shouted, startling all of the customers except Oreki and Kaho, who were in their own world. Even the chef, who was busy cooking, stepped out from the kitchen to see what was happening, but it seemed like it was just a regular shenanigan, so he got back to cooking. Another customer, however, was furiously writing something while spying on Oreki and Kaho.
Maika hold Mafuyu shoulders and ask seriously with empty eyes "Are you sure about that?" Maika's dark aura is leaking even the costumer are getting chills except for the masochist this people are build different.
Mafuyu got scared by Maika and nodded furiously. Maika then turned around at Oreki and Kaho. She was about to walk when Mafuyu held her waist tightly and asked, "What are you going to do?"
"Nothing," Maika replied, trying to break free from Mafuyu but unable to.
"What do you mean nothing? You're about to do something you'll regret," Mafuyu said, keeping Maika in place.
Back to Oreki and Kaho. After a couple of minutes, which seemed too long for Kaho, she took a deep breath and asked in an embarrassed tone, "Can we exchange PSN and Switch IDs?" Kaho's voice gradually got lower from the start to finish of her question.
I smiled and teased her, "So you're a gamer girl?" I nodded sagely, thanks to the wiki. I wouldn't even know that otherwise.
Kaho blushed and acted tsundere again, saying, "Hmph, I just don't want you to be lonely playing solo." But I countered it with facts and logic, just to tease her more and break her tsundere act.
"But I can just play random people online, and if not I can just play with family member" remembering Tom ,Jerry and Bast. Well Bast said she does not need to play games.
Then her face become comically red and then explode with a puff of smoke. She look down on floor in shame. That is super cute, tsundere with no violence is good type tsundere.
"So, are you in need of a gamer friend or not?" I asked, and she nodded with a blush, still looking at the floor. "Or do you want a gamer boyfriend?" I teased, and she nodded again.
Realizing her response, she slowly looked up at me with an almost crying face and shook her head rapidly to deny it. I chuckled lightly at her reaction, noticing Maika being held by Mafuyu. Wow, she's quite strong for her size.
"Anyway, here's my PSN and Switch account," I wrote it on a piece of tissue and gave it to her. While waiting for her to give me her ID, I noticed a woman near our table looking at us. I nodded to her, and she nodded back, bowing her head.
After writing her ID on the same tissue paper, she gave it to me. I walked to Maika and Mafuyu, who had already stopped what they were doing earlier, and asked, "Maika-san, let's exchange LINE. You too, Kaho-san." I asked Maika and glanced back at Kaho, who was still holding the tissue like a sacred and divine thing.
Hearing that, Maika's eyes regained color like shining black gems as she asked, "Really?" She held my hands, afraid that I would run away or take back my word. I nodded to reassure her, then took out my phone, and we exchanged LINE contacts. The same went for Kaho, whom I had to karate chop to get her attention since she was too focused on the piece of tissue.
Mafuyu interjected, "What about me?" She seemed to want some attention, but she's not my type of girl. Who knows, that might change.
"Not yet," I said as I started walking to the door without looking at her pouting face.
"Mou, at least try asking me," Mafuyu said, following me as she said that.
I say with a smile "and for the record I heard that you like me Maika but I plan to make a harem of girlfriends" I said laughing loudly as I look them, their faces look shock and confused at same time. Their reaction are priceless, I'm going to store that in my mind.
and I noticed the again costumer started writing furiously after hearing that.
I left the Cafe Stile and did not wait for them to recover.
While walking a bit faraway I heard them should loudly "WHAT!" startling the passer by.
I seal my presence slowly and teleported back to the house

Arriving at my house, I saw Tom and Jerry assembling the Cat Tree. I didn't know who signed for and received the goods, but I assumed it was Tom. I then put the consoles and games on the sofa and started working on them. Connecting the PS5 to the TV, I turned it on and installed Street Fighter and Tekken.
Before I noticed it, Tom and Jerry had already finished the Cat Tree. They were watching me connect the PS5 to the TV. I looked back at them and asked, "Who received the delivery guys?"
Jerry pointed at himself with a proud look on his face. Well, I stand corrected. I smiled and nodded. "Good. Did you guys already eat?" I asked, unsure if there was enough food for this gluttonous duo.
Both of them nodded. I pointed at the sleeping Bast. "What about her?"
Tom made an 'Okay' gesture.
"Then, if you guys are full, let me teach you about the art of fighting games," I said to them while gesturing them to sit on the sofa. I opened Street Fighter and instructed them to pick characters.
Tom picked Blanka, and I chose Ryu. Then, I beat the stuffing out of him, showing no mercy. Tom looked at me with a confused expression.
"What you think I'm gonna teach you myself. Just like an Asian parent would do, Beating you will teach you something" I laugh remembering the stereotype of Asian parenting of tough love.
Tom and Jerry rolled their eyes at my petty behavior. I stood up and told them, "If you want to get good, practice or watch combos on YouTube. If not, go self-study." I walked upstairs to play chess online, wondering if Shion is prepared for the ass-beating she's going to receive. After that, we are going to meet the devils, but not until I buff Bast, Tom, and Jerry.

At Kuoh Academy, inside the ORC room, Rias was seen sitting and watching anime like the usual lazy Rias. Luckily or unluckily for us, she was wearing her uniform, which is such a shame. Her Queen Akeno was preparing tea for the guests who were about to arrive. Rias's other peerage members were doing their usual activities, with Kiba brooding and trying to look cool, and Koneko doing Koneko things, nibbling on something. The last member of her peerage was hiding somewhere.
Rias and her peerage were not the only ones in the room; there were others too, including Sona and her peerage, who were whispering in the corner as if the others couldn't hear them.
Sona and Tsubaki stopped talking with their peerage and approached Rias. "Rias, are you sure you already know what that dragon was?" Sona questioned, wondering if Rias was just going to show off in front of their siblings and embarrass herself in the process.
Rias turned to look at Sona, annoyed that she kept getting interrupted while watching. "Sona, how many times do I have to tell you? I know something about that dragon, but I don't know everything."
Sona sighed. "I'm just making sure that you don't embarrass yourself in front of our siblings," she said, expressing her concern for her best friend.
"Thank you for your concern, Sona, but don't worry! I know what I'm doing," Rias said confidently, though her track record might suggest otherwise.
"Then we'll see if you know something. Until then, we'll wait," Sona replied, and as soon as she said that, a light suddenly shone on the floor.
