Chương 13: chapter 13 new gu
She brought out a purple looking mite and handed it to me.
Initel[ this gu is called inner will, it creates a will inside of your mind that excel at processing thoughts for you as they have the same thoughts as you.]
But before I could even try to refine inner will gu it disappeared, and i felt a familiar process. All of that did not escape Initel's eyes.
Initel[ you... your fusing gu right now.]
But i didn't answer her, i was to distracted by what was happening in me. I searched my aperture for my new gu but it was not there, but that could only leave one other place. I then looked into my heart to see my self gu holding inner will gu. The process that felt familiar was that these two gu were fusing. As time went by these two gu became covered in a blinding light and as the light dissipated a new gu was left.
It seemed self gu was the main gu as i saw my same figure, but unlike before he was now dressed in a purple scholars robe. Even the look in the eyes were different before he looked like a fighter that was eyeing down an opponent in the ring. Now he looked like he was observing everything curiously.
Initel[ what gu did you just fuse?]
This one question terrified me, i can't lie not with truth shines gu on me, and i can't take my time to answer either. If she really wanted to she could just straight up dissect me like how Hei clan did to that otherworldly demon in their clan.
Shu[ I'm not entirely sure myself.]
Initel[ it looks like once i gave you inner will gu it fused with one of your gu, and it even did it all on its own.]
This woman is an inkmen shes either a wisdom path gu immortal or a information path gu immortal. I won't be able to hide from her
Initel[ what gu did you have that it would do such a thing, and don't bother hiding anything. I know about beggar moth and that new gu of yours stealth scale.]
This woman has definitely been watching me, and learning about me. Its best if i just cooperate with her.
Shu[ Have you ever heard of self gu?]

Initel[ a gu that looks like the user, ranks up with the user, doesn't eat, and can't be taken out of your body.]
When she says it like that it does sound unbelievable. Hopefully with truth shines gu she'll believe me and doesn't start soul searching for my memories or dissecting me.
Initel[ I've heard of a gu like this, their was a child in a different clan and of a different time who had this gu. He was always severely depressed and had no motivation to do anything even though he had talent he did not want to cultivate. His master who wanted to help him got him a rare gu called happy gu. A gu that brings happiness to the user, what he did not expect was for it to immediately fuse with his already existing self gu. His new gu was then created called self happiness.
Now that he was no longer depressed he continued cultivating and eventually became an immortal. His self happiness gu ranked up alongside him, having an immortal gu right off the bat and one he used for a long time made him an incredible gu immortal.
When his clan learned about a unique gu that ranked up along the user, obviously they wanted to lean how to refine it. The child did his best to try to help them refine it but none succeeded. He said all one needed to do was know one self, understand one self, and accept one self. That sounds easy but it is not at all, knowing an enemy is simple but knowing one self is not.
This information was leaked and studied by certain people, but only a select few learned one important thing. That is this gu is a human path gu and to even have hope in refining it one needs some attainment in human path.]
At the sentence she looked at me in a whole new way. The type of look people use to look at money, a look of greed.
Initel[ So whats your attainment level?]
Shu[ Human path attainment? I didn't even know i had any.]
Initel[ you didn't know? ...That makes sense most who do have attainment in human path don't even know it exists. I'd say you must at most have quasi master attainment in it. Though you most likely have ordinary attainment in it, but more importantly lets see what your new gu is capable of activate it.]
I did as she said and started using my primeval essence on it. After it used 3% of my primeval sea essence a figure appeared next to my new gu. It looked exactly like my new gu the only difference was that it was partially see through and purple, but as soon as it appeared i felt a deep connection with it and my thoughts now felt like their were two of me thinking. In just a few minutes of this new me appearing i had figured out what my new gu did.
Shu[ It can create a will that looks exactly like me and it can help speed up my thoughts.]
Initel[ The will looks like you?..... try letting this will out.]
I didn't want to do it, since i know wills can be searched. I don't want her knowing my memories, but again i had no choice. It'd be best if i did as she asked.
I directed my will to leave and with that thought alone it left and appeared in front of me. It was my exact doppel the only difference was he was purple and a bit see through, he was also wearing the same clothes as self gu. As soon as it left i felt i lost most of my connection to it, but some was still there.
Initel[ Try moving it ]
I did as she said and told it in my mind to move around. It did exactly as i told it too, Initel then reached out to it and ripped it in half, i felt my connection weaken a bit but that was it. She started to do some experiments with it and it was only after 20 minutes did she stop.
Initel[ This will of your is a bit intriguing. Its vastly different from the one inner will gu makes. Inner will gu's will looks like a fog and it also can't leave the mind thus its name. Yet yours has a form and can leave, however i found some flaws. Once its out you can no longer use it to help you speed up your thoughts. It also retains no memories before its existence. Its only memories were when you created it and used it to help figure out what it does. I doesn't even react to pain, no movement in its face or words, it will only do so when you order it to. Try taking it back in]
It doesn't have my memories thats good, i thought for sure I'd be discovered as an other worldly demon. I soon did as she said and told the will to return and it did as i told it, but as soon as it entered into my mind i felt new memories stream into my mind. They were the memories of my will and all that had happened when it left my body.
Initel[ Looks like i was right once the will returns to the user. The user will learn all of its experiences. Its not a bad gu, the only thing that makes it odd is that it has no memories. It's almost like you created a new living being.]
Shu[ A new living being? I like that, from now on i shall call this gu self-being.]
Initel[ Self-being gu..... not bad i was thinking self will or inner self, but that works too. I made the right choice picking you. Now here take these and memorize them and try to learn from them, and don't worry about monthly missions. Now that your under me you no longer have to worry about such things.]
She once again raised her hand but this time a pink beam shot out and hit my head. I was learning new information on strength path gu, from types to recipes and even fusions. I learned the gu recipe for drop of strength gu, jab gu, sharp shark gu, and even a three gu recipes that will permanently increase my strength.
I wanted to immediately go and buy the materials to refine them and hire a refinement path gu master to make them but i reminded myself that I'm now a disciple of Initel. Through her i could get much stronger strength gu then these.
Initel[ I'll be leaving now, but I'll leave a will behind in case you need anything. During this time i want you to really think about what you know about strength path and human path. Oh and make sure you don't lose the ability to feed truth shines gu, its the best way i can prove your under me.]
She stood up and a light pink fog came out that took shape of her upper body, and just like that the real Initel disappeared.
I chose to listen to her and i quickly started using up all of my primeval sea essence to create new wills. I was able to create 150 wills max, earlier i learned that my wills can be stored in my heart and mind. In the story wills only worked in the mind well at least for mortal level gu masters.
I was in a self imposed trance with my wills. Using my knowledge of the story i remembered all of the known strength path gu and killer moves. Of course the most mentioned killer move was myraid self. A killer move that combined strength path with enslavement path. Heaven refinement demon venerable had once thought that if he continued developing this killer move he could create a new path. It wasn't until later that he realized it was infact a human path killer move.
At that thought i then started to think about all of the human path gu and killer moves, and unlike strength path i had a story that was considered to be an inheritance. The legends of Ren Zu all of his struggles and his children too. It contained deep human path profundity.
As i was thinking about human path i felt something click as if i had realized something that was infront of me the whole time. This..... is this attainment? What a wonderful feeling. I couldn't even put into words what it felt like. It was an addicting feeling soon all i wanted to do was think about human path and its profunditys. I went over the story of Ren Zu over and over again, when i felt like i hit a wall i focused on strength path.
I lost track of time like this, soon all i did was eat, sleep, and cultivate, but the majority of the time i spent using self-being gu to create wills to deepen my understanding of these two dao. After some time i could just tell what my attainment levels were. My strength path could be called quasi master, but my human path attainment was definitely at master. My human path understanding was deep and i had many reasons as to why.
First this is not my first life i lived a whole other life with a different point of view of everything. Second i read reverend insanity and that includes the story of Ren Zu. I understood how humans work with one another and their hierarchies.
If it wasn't for Initel and my self-being gu. I wouldn't have realized how deep my attainment was. I also realized due to my human path attainment why my self gu fused with inner will gu. It knew what i was lacking most and thus fused with a gu to help me best. For Ren Zu he lacked strength, love and several other things. In the story his self gu ate a piece of these gu to gain their power because he needed it. For that child Initel told me about he lacked happiness in his life so it became his self happiness gu. As for me i had lots of strength but i lacked the mentality to keep up with my growth of strength.
My human path attainment helped me understand more about self gu as well. The immortals will most likely never gain their own self gu, since when they refine the gu it automatically becomes the rank their at. The odds are an immortal level self gu already exists, and mortals would most likely never gain their own self gu either, because i knew now one must understand themselves, and accept one self. Each one more difficult then the last. The child who was depressed most likely knew his personality was bad but instead of trying to change it he did something most wouldn't do and he accepted himself. It wasn't until he got self happiness gu that he changed for the better.
I don't know how much time passed but eventually Initel was the one who snapped me out of my stupor, and it was the real Initel not her will.
Initel[ I'm glad you did as i told you. Do you know why i told you to do this?]
Shu[ Was it to help me understand the dao?]
Initel[ thats part of it but I'm sure it must have been hard to try to understand the dao of the world. In this world only a few people can actually do it. So few can even reach master attainment in a certain path, let alone exceed it.]
I definitely shouldn't tell her my attainment levels.
Initel[ however our Hu clan has a one time method that'll imitate inspiration and help deepen your understanding of the great dao. It only works on mortals and sadly a one time use. So it's only used on those with talent or good connections.]
So its like a downgraded version of an immortal ascension. Where you can ask questions about the great dao and heaven will answer. I'll have make sure i take great advantage of this opportunity.
Shu[ Is that why the gu reward for the tournament was inner will gu?]
Initel[ no that gu was only for those selected by uppers for this very purpose.]
After that i was instructed by Initel to max out my wills and my primeval sea essence. Once i finished that she used some technique that put me in a empty space.
