Tóm tắt

Let's be honest. You've read this story before.

Pathetic loser gets transmigrated, finds a magical system, gets into a magical academy, and suddenly every girl in a ten-mile radius wants to jump his bones. It’s trash. I should know; I died choking on my own rage while reading it.

Yeah, I got that story. Except I'm not some clueless kid. I was a Yakuza enforcer. And the body I got stuck with? It belongs to the fattest, laziest, most perverted side-character I’ve ever met. My new name is Satori, and my life is a cosmic joke.

My "cheat" is the [Scumbag System]. It doesn't reward heroism or kindness. It rewards manipulation, corruption, and causing the kind of chaos that makes for a damn good show. And if I fail? The penalties are... creative. And excruciatingly painful.

First on the System's hit list: my gorgeous, powerful, and utterly disgusted stepsister, Natalia. The mission: seduce her, corrupt her, and make her mine.

This isn't a zero-to-hero story. It's a story about a wolf in pig's clothing, and the flock has no idea what's coming.

Welcome to the hunt.

I was curious about author's original work after coming from MHA fanfic. Apparently, despite the name of the novel, I didn't expect the R18 part happened that fast. Not a complaint, just something that was unexpected. So far, the MC's journey seems to be heavily inspired by Solo Leveling, which was what the author already said. This is also the second (or third?) time I've read a system novel where the heroines could benefit from the system function. Which is a bit weird, as there are many system-type novels out there, but those MCs will most likely take their system secret to the grave. I quite enjoy the writing style of this author. I can't explain why exactly, but it seems a bit more... coherent? fluent? directed? Anyway, I also like how author writes their R18 scenes. They are more action than just the regular old character dialogues and reactions, which is how R18 should be written. You'll probably understand it once you read them yourself. I can't really comment on update stability, as my current reading progress ended on a chapter from 10 days ago. But from what I've seen, it's great. My verdict: I recommend this novel very much. I think this is pretty much my second original work where I willingly paid for coins just so I can read more of it. I don't really like spending money on this platform, but I don't think there are other places so...

Score: 8.5/10 Critical Review: A Book That Ruins Other Books Yup, you read that right. This book has single-handedly ruined about 10 novels for me in the last month. I’ll be reading a book that initially showed promise, but then—almost subconsciously—I start comparing it to My Scumbag System. Thoughts like, “I wish the character development was better,” or “I wish the writing quality was more immersive,” start creeping in. I know WebNovel is a platform for amateur writers to hone their craft, which by definition means their writing skills and imagination are still rough around the edges. But it’s hard not to compare when such a high-quality book exists on the same platform. I won’t lie: when I first saw the title and synopsis, I assumed it was just another low-effort, smut-filled story, the kind you can find by the dozen on the app. But seeing it highlighted on my feed, I decided to give it a try—and here I am, writing this glowing review. One of the book’s greatest strengths is that it knows its target audience. From the very first chapter, we’re introduced to Satori, our protagonist. He isn’t the typical confused, childish, dim-witted, hypochondriac anime MC who has a life crisis every time something unexpected happens. Personally, I’m so tired of the overused transmigration trope that I usually skip the first 2–4 chapters of any new book because it’s the same act performed a million times. Yes, the first chapter contains similar fluff, but it ends quickly. By the second chapter, we already know Satori’s limitations and goals, and we see him as clever, confident, and intelligent. I’ve always been a fan of manipulative MCs, and Satori delivers exactly that. He doesn’t have a hero complex, nor does he start with overpowered abilities. Instead, he’s simply resourceful with the situation he’s given. He begins life as an overweight loser, and his goal is to seduce Natalia—a girl whose main principles are hard work and dedication. So what does he do? He spends the next month mostly ignoring her, focusing on improving himself. Through his determination, Natalia ends up approaching him first. Only then does he know it’s time to initiate the “seduction phase.” At the same time, while things are still fresh, the author carefully develops Natalia as a character. She isn’t just another cookie-cutter female lead template—you can feel she’s written as a real person. By the end of chapter 50, almost every member of the family (except Luka) feels fleshed out and believable. This deserves praise because character development, while keeping a story engaging, is notoriously difficult. Another standout feature is the pacing. The story unfolds slowly—some might even say at a glacial pace. But the writing is so good that it never feels stagnant. Every chapter feels like it’s either building toward something or is simply entertaining in its own right. The dialogue shines especially bright. It not only reveals each character’s personality but also subtly builds the world. The author avoids meaningless info dumps about the setting or its policies (which most readers forget anyway). Instead, the world expands naturally, chapter by chapter. The same goes for character introductions: instead of flooding the reader with 10 characters in 5 chapters, the story takes its time so that each introduction matters and sticks. That said, there are a few areas that could have been handled better. The initial seduction between Satori and Natalia, for instance, felt like it skipped a few steps. But honestly, I didn’t find myself complaining for long. The author kept developing their relationship after they got together, which made up for the rushed beginning. Overall, this book has earned my seal of approval. I hope it receives the recognition it deserves from others in the community.

Read up to the end of volume 1. This is one of, if not the best, new novels out here. Leon is right; this will ruin other books for you. At first I thought this would be another wish fulfillment AI garbage like any other novel. But I was wrong. Very wrong. The character/story progression is neither too fast nor too slow. It's just perfect. The MC is morally flexible with clear boundaries and a clear goal in mind. He is NOT your typical mess of an MC that you usually see after transmigration/reincarnation. This MC is pragmatic and logical and, like I said, has a clear goal in mind. His earlier interaction with Natalia alone proves that he did not jump into action like a d*mb*ss but fixed himself. And the result shows how right that decision was. The female characters have depths to them. Not those shallow, one-directional characters you usually see in harem novels. - Natalia, who is very dedicated and hardworking - Kimiko, who is a very perceptive mother bear I like how these characters were introduced at a very good pace, not too fast with no depth or too slow and unnecessarily descriptive But just perfect. The world background is introduced at a fluent pace with characters (as of the first volume). I'm not used to the First-Person POV of the Main Character, Satori, maybe because I always associate this with TikTok/Reddit AI story garbage. But other than that 9.5/10 for story progression, characters, and lore. I'm hoping to see more of King Satori and Queen Natalia's story. Important PS. I hope to see degenerate Zeus getting smacked by Satori in the near future.

Came from MHA fic. This story is better I will say. You have such a talent for mixing first and third person POV it’s like your superpower or something lol Keep going! And if you can make one of the female characters similar to Ai Hoshino I will be sure to donate all the stones I have!

Sometimes, you will find complete masterpieces on this site... this is one of them. Don't even waste your time with reviews. I guarantee you that this book is really good. The character development, little character intricacies, everything about this book is just so refined and polished. My only real complaint is that there are minor spelling errors from time to time, but other than that the book is a real breath of air so far.

BE CAREFUL WHEN READING, THIS BOOK IS EXTREMELY ADDICTIVE, IT CAN CAUSE DEPENDENCE AND IN SERIOUS CASES AN ANGRY ATTACK ON THE AUTHOR.

Decided to give this a try after enjoying the author’s MHA fic, and I’m liking the flow so far. The story shows solid progression with an intelligent main character, and I’m hoping the system doesn’t turn out to be overly restrictive over time.

I enjoy how the MC and Natalia's route goes it's a slow burn, not like those novels that use the repetitive "I save you, now you love me." Nvm, tbh the author still used that, but after like, doing some affectionate things, so what I am trying to say is the love is not built by just 1 aspect of it, like the saving part. The follow-up after Natalia loves the MC is nice, she is not forgotten, and she is constantly influencing the plot, and even if the progress says 100%, it is written in a way that makes it feel like their love is still progressing. Overall the romance is good and it's written well.

I've never bothered to review a book here before. This one is great. Characters are nuanced, the world makes sense, the system is cheesy but self aware, the tone is light enough to carry itself but just serious enough to actually care. great effort, worth the read.

Surprisingly pretty good. Usually don’t give stuff named “scumbag system, OP system, Lust System, all the degenerate cliche sounding titles” a chance but thought I’d give it a go since I liked the mha ff and the author asked to try his other one. And I’m not disappointed so far. The writing is good the pace isn’t too fast not too slow either. I’m a little scared for how realistically he’s gonna complete his first mission with tsundere and how realistic the female characters will act. Again harem, smut genre isn’t really my thing but I’ll stick around because I am enjoying the story and want to see what comes next with our mc. Keep cooking author ✍️

Close to dropping at chapter 61. Bro, it's kind of boring to read when the main character hides his powers for the entire chapter. He supposedly has abilities, but he doesn't show them. What's the point of having them then? To sit on the edge of his seat for the entire story?

Good story, just wished the MC became a bit more likeable. He has almost no redeeming qualities or thoughts. I get he is a former gang member, but even criminals have redeeming qualities if sometimes only to few. I'm still reading it for now, but if we don't see some somewhat humane thoughts from him soon I may drop it. Still a really well written story, just my personal preferences that's damaging the story..
