5 stars as encouragement to new author. the story moves fast, each year is a chapter or two, away from golden trio. the plot is written well, but i would agree with other reviews that some more character building would have been better, to understand his past a bit, or to understand what motivates him earlier ( we get to know by like ch 15 and we have long chapters) ai usage is done well, some nominal talks about control > power which is usual in ai fics, but the plot itself is more about mc wanting to learn what makes magic tick for reasons i wont spoil, as side effect it makes him more powerful and slowly immortal give it a try

not enough character building not enough social interaction Ai was used but it's not too bad MC needs some work he doesn't have any hobbies he only studied i don't even know his likes or dislikes he just wants to be powerful he doesn't have any acquaintance's much less friends or anything
