Same generic wuxia tropes. Well, sometimes these conventional cultivation stories can be enjoyable too. Especially, the faceslappings. Though not impressed, I had fun reading this. The only aspect I'm confused about is, why do 99% of authors writing on these genres have to fixate on such an overused starting point for the mc? Beginning on some mortal lower realm, in some insignificant remote city, getting belittled as trash or having engagement broken or sth, then receiving some miraculous opportunity and faceslapping people left and right. This has become so redundant and obsolete that it's downright nauseating. Does having a high starting point mean mc cannot develop that so-called 'unshakeable spirit' ? For the genuine evolution of this genre, authors need to develop MCs who have a very high starting point, but also are calm, intelligent, determined and powerful. And their family also needs to grow alongside them and not just left behind and forgotten like extras. Just take 'IATFV' or 'AO' as an example on this platform.
Save your money. Every chapter takes over 25 coins to unlock. Good but not worth the price.
Over priced 25 per chapter and super drawn out. Takes forever to get anything done like they are just trying to get you money and charging premium price.
A cultivation tale focusing on the underdog story. The cultivation system is quite elaborate, the world-building quite good, and the plot has a great many characters. Unfortunately, the characters themselves fall short. There's an unending line of typical dumb villains who repeat the same cliche of underestimating the protagonist then die miserably. Even the plot itself mostly boils down to a repetition of 'kill a bad guy, which offends his friends, get stronger, kill those friends, offend their families, get stronger... etc etc. Still, if you enjoy classic Xianxia tropes this can still be a fun read.
This is face slapping 101. That is the entire book, other components are good though. Could use more romance
Read upto chap 208 Mc power is nice and op, he cultivates fast, story is ok BUT every antagonist acts like they are 5 years old, the face slapping takes up close to half the chapters Kept reading because I was hoping author would tone it down, it s as bad as Marshall God asura early chapters are in that aspect. DO NOT READ unless you are ready too scroll through half the story
very very good, Mc is smart and ruthless, the faceslapping is amazing, translation is better than average Webnovel books. Side Characters are almost non existent but the ones that are present are good too. Villans are stupid, but in a good sense. They make my blood boil but when MC slaps them I get happy. 😘🤌
The price is insane. when you get closer to the end, you not only have to pay for the chapters but they also start making you pay for the privilege to see chapters to unlock them. right now in order to just see the rest of what they have I'd have to pay $100. then in a couple weeks I'd have to do the same. keep in mind, you will also still have to pay per chapter to. I'm done!
actually this story is really engaging and exciting. not complicated nor heavy emotion no excess romance. this is really my cup of tea.

Just your run of the mill cultivation novel, turn your brain off if you wanna enjoy it
I am a big fan of these types of novels and normally don't mind reading the same story pretty much but with different characters. I'm not saying this is a rip off of some other story but I'm saying there is literally nothing unique with this story and other similar ones. the mc is plain and average. if you ask me to describe some characters traits of his I would fail. Everything I read so far don't give much to work on. if the mc like this there even less to say about the side character. the golden finger /aka the treasure to help him surpassed people faster is dull too. the fighting is very dull the dialog is very dull the background and world building is very dull. the only reason I still reading this story is good grammar and because I'm bias. I simply like these types of story, and I am hoping the awakening of his material soul is not dull and have some uniqueness. in short Its not worth to pay to read this and even if it were free, I still would hesitate to recommend this story, this would literally be one of my last recommendation if I had to recommend similar stories. slightly below average story/ only people that think this story is good is people that just got started in reading.
