Partially, at least for the parts that he perfomed proper work instead of learning stuff or being trained. Still, while it is a nice little starting bonus for the usual aspiring trainer, it is not worth mentioning for Mikail at all, which is why it didn't come up.
Thankfully, my workweek for this phase was only 5 days long instead of 6, though the work hours remained the same, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. When I inquired about my housing, John straight up told me that I had to take care of that myself. It seemed like I would once more be staying inside Utopia, but I honestly did not mind. I mean, why would I? I had a fully furnished mansion there.

Breakthroughs don't have barrier, though they usually don't take long if one has not gone through the limit breaking process or is lucky enough to trigger a substantial change like the unlocking of a modifier or talent. Still, if pne does manage to interrupt an ongoing process, it means that the Pokemon in question has likely been attacked and hurt due to being distracted, so it will be in a disadvantage during the fight. As for other consequences, they would be unable to attempt another breakthrough for a while.
Once his (mid) dark gold undulation started to spread, signaling the successful completion of his breakthrough, I made my way to Osiris' side with Igneel in tow. I naturally observed Osiris while moving closer, but I saw no visual differences, so whatever happened had no impact on his looks, though it appeared that Osiris had felt a difference as well since he was staring at his hands.

I had some ideas regarding the future of their group. I was going to ask them to act as the guards for the orphanage-centered Pokemon habitat in Hope Town. With Toedscruel being at the dark gold stage and Vileplume being at the gold stage, the two were strong enough to shoulder that responsibility.

Anyway, once I was done with my explanation I was told that they would have a proposal/design ready for me by the end of next week, and around that time the demolition and clearing of the property was done as well.

I was planning to choose the one with the best offer for the whole construction project I had in mind. They told me they would give me the quote within 3 days, and after settling that as well, I went home.

The primary and secondary schools were close enough that a caretaker could walk the younger kids to school in 15 to 20 minutes. The tertiary students could walk to their school on their own, and according to my estimate, they would only need half an hour at most.

They seemed happy after that and agreed to join me after I gave that promise, so I temporarily caught them in some of the unregistered balls that I then stored inside Utopia. I felt much better after that, having finally fulfilled the promise I had made to myself all those years ago.

I was not worried about relations between third or fourth-degree relatives since Utopia could take care of any possible defects. Moreover, Pokemon DNA was more resistant/robust than human DNA, so the probability of defects appearing was lower from the start.

Squirtle and Beldum are currently limit breaking while she went from mid to high bronze

We then made our way to the Houndour/Houndoom territory, where the rest of their pack was already eagerly waiting for us.

Once we arrived there I thanked and recalled him before I made my way up to her room after greeting the dorm guard. I gave them a berry basket to thank them for their hard work keeping everyone safe while mentioning that I was just going up to the third floor to visit Jessica.

While you can't stop it once it is in effect, stopping it before that is possible.
While it was rising, Aby fired a Dark Pulse at it but it used Phantom Force to be intangible for a bit so her attack failed. That action bought it enough time to get properly airborne, and with its intangibility, it managed to theoretically bypass the restriction set by Taunt. I had to admit that, that was a pretty clever application of Phantom Force.

Young Mikail Geo turned out to be as fascinating/interesting as his Raichu. Really high aura talent, psychic talent, and combat abilities. A truly impressive roster of Pokemon, with all of them being at an impressive strength considering his age and the number of areas he was focusing on.
