Hi author, just came across your book. I think I and a lot of readers would like to know if it is harem or not? It is best to know beforehand so that people can make the choice to read or not. By harem I mean multiple wives. Attention having different girlfriends/experiencing different relationships is not harem just life. Cheating on girlfriend with other isn't harem too. Just the dumb "I am sharing my man with 1 million other girls and we are all sisters/sister wives nonesense". Some of us are triggered by this.
Also the title says beast contract but it is turning into a necromancy story. I mean author there are enough stories about necromancers on the platform, you should have stuck to the beast contracting and made it OP with its ability to win battles with number, made it rare or something. Everyone shouldn't be able to contract beasts easily.
So far so good. I am not sure where the story is going because the author like to focus on other characters who are not the MC making it a little bit too annoying. I like the MC who looks like your average person, I pretty dislike the hero Arthur a little. He seems like the kind of person easy to manipulate, but we will see where the story leads us.
Just stopped at the monster hunting chapter. Honestly it is pretty dumb, after reincarnation and having a super rare attribute the MC has nothing better to do with their life they creep on the novel protagonist and the capture target. Like seriously?! What is the point of the story? She acts dumb like a teenager not like her background of assassin, hacker etc. Like she can't say no because of puppy eyes? Like seriously? I am loosing neurones reading this.
Well I stopped at chapter 7 the rooftop. I just could not get into the MC wishy washiness. I guess we have the Mona girl with the katana coincidentally ( I read from one of the author's comment that there is a reason). But honestly if I know the end of the world is coming today I am not sending my kid to work. So I have no idea what that reason may be. But overall I don't know why I just can't get into the story. Maybe it is the excessive description of each actions or the physically perfect MC with some forced mental health issues but the novel isn't really for me. But good luck author anyway.
I know! the story is going downhill I have not idea what just happened. I am at chapter 177 and already ready to give up on this.
Chapter 177 review The story started out pretty good then it turned into puppy love/obession of a teenage boy for a girl he should logically move on from. Anyway, I am starting to loose interest a little and things don't move very fast plot wise. Not sure where this is going though I suspect the author may be trying to pull some king of Naturo et Sasuke obsession except it is between a boy and a girl so probably with romance mixed. Even more with the whole Slave shadow thing with the true name. The MC may be a little BDSM. But honestly, I am a girl but at this point in the story line it makes more sense for the MC to end up with kai as he always know when he is saying the truth and that guys superficiality compliments well with the intense MC and his paranoia
I just read the book all the way to "A date" and it is way too cringy. Like teenage angst type of deal. You can see the immaturity of the relationship of that Maria girl and the way it was written. Like seriously from treating Zach like baggage from the first in field, to being solely attracted to the MC because of his strength and what's up with the sob story that isn't even natural. And the way the MC acts is sooo cringy. I don't like reading about kids, I probably need to stick to older MCs or at least the reincarnated ones if they are young. Strangely in real life I wouldn't be surprised if girls like Maria date a guy just to increase their status in their family. I am a woman and I have seen, heard and read some pretty shitty stuff girls do. Some men can really be SIMP, they don't go for the girl next door and then cry when their trophy wife cheats on them. From experience the cold, snobbish girls don't change, they just hide it for love, or to achieve their goals etc. The MC relationships reminds me a lot of athletes who often end up with some super gorgeous girl who wouldn't have given them the time of day in the past. Some even only want to make a baby and get child support etc. But I guess that is the kind of relationship the author likes. To all their tastes. Besides the character designs I don't like (the homeroom teacher, etc. The characters acter weird or illogical sometimes), the story is pretty good so far, the writing quality ( I gave high marks). The world background is a little bite so so . But may be because he is still in school. I don't feel particularly like keeping to read , that is just because I am not the target audience. I believe teenagers, in particular teenage boys would love the book , the story, the romance.
Please don't make it into the cliché of once in a lifetime cold/jade beauty storyline. Like seriously we all know rich and powerful men can have Victoria secret models in beds but it doesn't mean they all end up marrying them.
Ok. Just stopped at chapter 13. The story is well...I don't know how to describe it I guess it may be for teenagers? like 12 to 14 years? The thought process are quite simplistic, the mc is a kid mentally, I really feel like he thinks like my 11 year old cousin, talks naively, the story isn't really logical or maybe there is just missing a pull. Well there isn't anything making me want to read the next chapter, the next level up etc. Things are too fast. Also the reason for revenge doesn't really make us empathize with the MC. I mean their family did kill a member of the wang clan, so in this kind of society, they kind of had it coming. But don't take it personally author. I may not be the target audience for this story.
