To be completely honest, I tried reading and while not terrible, it focuses a bit too much on the characters. No overall plot or even events that change the world in any way has really happened. For anyone wondering, I stopped on Chapter 17. What I disliked the most is the way the main character was behaving due to the loss of his friends. I can understand his background, the build-up of the relationship between him and those two friends... yet, I couldn't really care for them as much as he did. Story wise, they have done really nothing for him other than being the 'emotional' support. Updates? I'm unsure how often the author updates. Story Development? The story is dragging, and a lot has been left unsaid about the direction this is going. Other than the bitching and moaning protagonist that is completely destructive and unworthy of being a protagonist. Then there is the main characters power level, barely moving at all or he hasn't made any fascinating, creative progress in his prowess. A bit of a disappointment, considering magic can be used in a limitless manner. Even though there are layers, upon layers of text when it comes to Character Development, nothing seems to have been developed by him or anyone else around him at all. Or at least nothing has been shown. He has just gotten worse, rather than better. World Background is even more vague for me because I grew bored trying to read the story so badly, I skipped over paragraphs upon paragraphs, only stopping at bits where characters begin to talk or think. Overall, I can't say this is all that suited for my tastes. If someone wants angst (with an overwhelming dread in relation to the main character and his relations with... well, anyone), walls of text that both explain stuff yet doesn't show things in an intriguing way and major frustration at the main characters deterioration of character (not that there was much developed before that point anyway), then this is for you.

To be honest, the FF is pretty good. Great even, yet upon entering chapters 145-146, everything has become unlikeable for me. Well, the character development, or more specifically the character additions upon entering the Authors original world. I really wanted those five sisters to just be killed, but I know that wont be happening. I also heavily disliked the female goddess, Titania. While she hasn't really done anything bad per say, my dislike for her comes from the overall Arc that is happening now. Which feels and is forced, at least from my perspective. A few have shared my thoughts. Anyway, it was great up until then. Not to say this is bad, but my patience throughout the last few chapters, 145-165 (which I am currently up-to-date with), has been worn thin.
