I hope they keep to a more spectating standpoint for the avengers plot, definitely not ancient one levels but more like they just interfere when they want to but prefer to lay in bed

[A/N: Short warning this is a slice of life chapter, though the action is right around the corner, as the Avengers plot isn't far off. Either way, enjoy the story!]

an empty and useless but necessary threat, hopefully it'll speed along Tony's growth without having to make so much of a mess in the process

"One thing though you should remember. If I ever find out about one of your new weapons being used to take the life of an innocent, I will come back here and rip you apart – limb by limb."

alright fair, Tony didn't resist the military as hard as he should have just because of his friend

"But you didn't. And just a few minutes ago, you nearly let Colonel Rhodes walk out of this house with your greatest weapon yet. And why? Because the fear of your own death has made you self-destructive."

so he will kill them before they hear a single one of his footsteps even if they're superhuman in a room of opponent's it will just be all of them standing, then a bloody mess of what's left of them followed by the sonic boom of the sound barrier being broken long after they're dead

My speed and reflexes were practically impossible to judge accurately for me, because they were already in the superhuman ranges, but by my estimate, my speed had reached roughly around MACH2 at the beginning, while now I felt like I could move twice as fast.

just pointing out that "net worth" and net values include assets like real estate etc, he has 4 million remaining but still 6 million net worth with the 2 million studio

It had been a walk in the park to transfer the money from all those accounts onto a new one I had made. A full six million Euros had been on these accounts, from which I used two to buy the studio, leaving me with a net worth of four million. Not much in the grand scheme of things, but more than enough for now.

constantly working out in super speed might not be the best idea, I haven't spent long as a speedster so I can only infer that from a logical standpoint but he's probably got more experience as one

Watching him workout, shirtless and glistening with sweat, had become her favourite past time. Of course she regularly joined him in exercising, but his workout-plan was simply in a completely different league.

you're right he must have the infamous protagonist-itis, I've heard it's incurable though so she's in for some bad news

"D-Don't be ridiculous. Your hair and eyes wouldn't be different if you are fine.", she countered with obvious worry in her voice.

you say stray bullet but I assume you mean unexpected, if he's asleep, gets super snuck up on and then fired upon at point blank I believe a bullet would work. any other situation and bullets might aswell be volleyballs

My Superspeed alone was a great ability, but it had its limits. Pietro had still been a baseline human, despite his great speed and like the original I could be killed by any stray bullets, if I was not careful.

ah so he grabbed the good old 3 for 1 meal deal at the drive thru reincarnation bar.

I also wished for my existence to be concealed for all those capable of predicting the future. This concealment also extended to my mind, making me immune to mind manipulation and mind reading ablities.

oh hell yes, no God nonsense, no system selections, no potential for people getting turned off by the transmission between pre and post reincarnation.

Wanda had been worried sick for more than five days now. Her brother had gotten a high fever suddenly and kept drifting into unconciousness from time to time, mumbling strange things all the while.

good in the human heart? probably around 20g of protein and a tonne of vitamin b12. and "true hero's" are usually some of the worst types of people, most fictional villains are outclassed by "heros" in the damage they do to the world.

Questions like: Is there any good in the human heart? What would death be like? What would I do, if given power beyond human possibility? Does something like a 'true hero' exists? Am I a good person? Or am I a bad person? And does it even matter? Etc.
