Or at least he supposed it was. But the lack of the death squad that had gone after him returning left him worried. The young man had been overly confident to the point of being ridiculous, and Charles was beginning to fear it hadn't all been bravado. Most of it had undoubtedly been, since he was sure he remembered one of his lines being from a movie, but paranoia still gripped him.

Losing one or two members would be more than just irritating. They had invested a lot of resources in them, after all, leveling them all to at least level 5. He hadn't even considered for a second that they might be eliminated.
