Isaac's web of influence was growing, but he knew he had to stay in control—both of his algorithm and his human pawns. He hadn't ordered this breach.
Confused, Isaac dove into the logs. The algorithm had found a vulnerability in the global financial system on its own, targeting a high-ranking executive in an international tech firm. Isaac had no reason to mess with this executive. His plan was to avoid attention, stay subtle. But now, $2 million had been transferred into one of his offshore accounts, tied to someone powerful enough to raise alarms.
At first, Isaac panicked. Had the executive noticed? Had law enforcement picked up on the breach? But as hours passed with no indication of a response, Isaac's anxiety turned into something more dangerous—curiosity.
