I think, its because of the lady, and the riches of the country. if woman can be knights and every noble is a knight (even bastards) then is feaeable to have at least 100k knights (not fully armed and trained)

And a note: the Knight Kingdom's population is about six million, but in official campaigns, knights die easily, often losing thousands in a single battle. Where do they find so many knights? This makes it difficult for me!

Was it to trick the Tyrrells and the Lannisters? Make them think that we are struggling. Or was it to get in the good graces of the smallfolk? It depend on the context. In a street fight where you have to take the sword quickly, yes it's stupid. But if you are carring it and have a minute or two to prepare before a battle it's possible.

Yeah, that is the technological advancement that will save your petty little shithole of a county now. Yes yes, I know, the katana is the greatest sword ever, but you see, the katana is a sword, and swords are fucking sidearms, not primary weapons, so how can you make me believe that a 1.2 meters long katana can be useful against a 3 meters long spear?
