I understood why Saarthal was dug under the ground, it was the first city after all, but the rest confused me. Were the ancient winters so great that even Nords had to dig deep to escape them? Or was it simply a tradition from when they were still living over in Atmora where the winters were certainly that strong?

fun fact that most dont do you CAN actually just choose to kill off the dark brotherhood in skyrim but then your missing out on a decent horse and a knife.
I was not surprised by the brotherhood's attempt to kill me, I expected it even... but I was still furious at them and would thoroughly enjoy butchering the whole deranged 'family' of death cultists.

I did try hinting at the idea of teaching him about the thu'um a couple of times, but the young man bluntly refused me citing the required time and him being already busy with his duties. Another unfortunate fact was that the Greybeards would not reasonably leave the High King alone if they found out about him learning the thu'um.

Activating Monarch Creation and the Mana Archon skill I pictured a man with high intellect, brown hair swept back, with a strand hanging down his face. Wearing a white jacket, pink sash, white hakama, black tabi, and white zōri. From his back would be six pairs of black wings given skills will be Mana Archon, High-speed Regeneration, High-speed Regeneration, Space-time magic, and Gravity magic.

I can feel her annoyance at my non-answer, but thankfully after making me uncomfortable for a while she seemingly accepts my words and says "Very well, I will choose how to deal with her when she speaks to me." as she grumbles that out the light glows even more resplendent and her voice turns imperious once more "Once you descend into my sacred temple my light shall follow behind, lead it to my token of power and slay the necromancer's minions!"

On the way we find destroyed draugr corpses with some very obviously silver weapon inflicted wounds. I guess that if the silver hand got bored of their vendetta against the companions they could always just become cultists of Meridia.

In the meantime, I poured the most powerful potion of regeneration into the white phial. Just because I might not use it personally there was no reason not to earn some extra cash for basically no effort.
