Translations of the Classic Chinese of the Ring-knot Grass

Emperor Wuzi of Wei had a favorite concubine and no son. Wu Zi was ill and ordered Ke (the son of Wu Zi of Wei) to say,"You must marry him." When he was ill, he said,'He must be buried.' Later, he used the word "grass" as an allusion to gratitude. Grass knot and ring were legends of repaying kindness in ancient times.
