What does this philosophical story tell us?

God only has straw in his hand After the ship sank, the three of them had been floating for some time. They were cold and exhausted, praying to God in the endless sea. God heard their cry for help and sent a few straws to rescue them. When the straw slowly floated over, the first person immediately saw its thin and slender details. He quickly waved his arms like a bird flapping its wings. It didn't take long before he arrived in front of the 'round wood'. He stretched out his arm and waved it, only to realize that he had only gotten a few straws! In the bone-chilling coldness around him, he fell straight into the sea. God said,"Lucky and unfortunate, your success has revealed my mystery." I can't save you if you're bent on success!" The third person also mistook the straw as a log. Knowing that he was out of danger for the time being, he swam toward it unhurriedly and even hummed a little song. However, under the effect of the current, he swam forward a few meters, and the "round log" floated forward a few meters, always keeping a certain distance from him. For the first time, the angel was puzzled by God's mysterious preaching. She asked,"Since you intend to save me, why don't you send a log or a sampan?" God's face suddenly turned red, and he said in a trembling voice,"Don't you know our family's wealth?" I only have straw in my hands!"
