Wu Zhu was a mysterious character in Maoni's online novel, Joy of Life. He was the guardian of the main character, Fan Xian. He was also the servant of Fan Xian's mother, Ye Qingmei, when she was alive. Wu Zhu's martial arts were unfathomable. He was a hidden great grandmaster other than the four great grandmasters, and his strength was even above the four great grandmasters. He was usually quiet and his eyes were covered with a black cloth. He had a delicate appearance and seemed to never grow old. 30 years ago, after Ye Qingmei had brought him out of the Temple, he had always followed her to protect her and teach Fan Xian. However, he had lost a portion of his memory when Ye Qingmei was assassinated in Taiping Courtyard. Even though he tried to retrieve his past memories, the temple eventually erased all his memories. In the end, he followed Fan Xian back to the Central Plains and joined forces with everyone to kill the Qing Emperor. In the end, he recuperated on Dong Mountain. Although Wu Zhu was originally a robot, after interacting with Ye Qingmei and Fan Xian, he already possessed a human soul.
