Mum, tell me your story. What was your childhood like?

I grew up on a small farm. Every day was filled with chores like feeding the animals and helping in the garden. But there were also good times. I loved to explore the fields and the woods nearby. I had a dog that would always follow me around. Summers were especially great because we would have picnics by the river. There were also family gatherings where we would all get together and tell stories. It was a simple but happy childhood.

One of my favourite childhood stories was 'Snow White'. Snow White was so beautiful and kind, but her evil stepmother was jealous of her and tried to kill her. She ran into the forest and found the dwarfs' house. The dwarfs took her in, but the stepmother still found her with the help of the magic mirror and the poisoned apple. However, in the end, Snow White was saved by the prince's love. It was a story that made me believe in the power of good over evil.
