What are some of the funniest things that happened during your teacher days?

There was an election where a small - town candidate ran a campaign entirely based on his love for his pet chicken. He brought the chicken to every event and even had it on his campaign posters. It was a very funny and unique approach that got people talking. The chicken became a sort of unofficial mascot for his campaign. This was especially funny because it was such a departure from the typical campaign strategies.
