Things used to be so simple, y'know? Just study hard enough and get my major all done so I can graduate, make friends and connections that'll last a life time, and have a stable job to support yourself. But no. All that had to get thrown out the window in like a few days. For some reason, whenever I die, I can come back to life some time before I die. Yeah, it sounds nice and all, but it's a little hard when people think you fought off twenty armed gunmen all by yourself without a single scratch. Next thing you know, you're working for the government as an assassin. Life sure does throws a whole lot of curveballs at you, huh?

My entry for the WSA 2025. What would you do with the world in imminent danger due to irresponsible politicians? Ethan Moore sacrificed himself to stop a nuclear war from wiping out the world. With the massive amounts of karma gained from saving a world, Ethan is granted a special power during his rebirth. With his love for roguelike games, he has been granted his own roguelike system.

The souls of the dead God's were fragmented and gifted to the mortals that served the Gods, granting them powers known as the Arts. These remaining Gods grew sick of the world and attempted to conquer it, leaving the mortals to fight back against them, leading to the creation of the Guild. Among the Guild's ranks, there is the legend of a man who has defeated over hundreds of thousands of these God's armies; his name, Rogue. [Hopefully being added to royalroad soon]
