Long limbs were clad in a simple T-shirt with a pair of washed-out jeans hugging his slim waist. Messy lavender hair and snow-white skin tinted with faint pink seemed ethereal in the scene. Like a magnolia tree growing in the desert… or a white lotus sprouting from a pile of bullshit. One brave individual broke away from the herd, cold eyes set on the last player. ”Stay with us if you want to live.” Lam Thanh Van raised his gaze up to the looming man, green eyes drenched with tears, his lips trembling as he could only muster a nod. The world changed in the blink of an eye as a massive shockwave tore through the planet, its energy reverberating through the very fabric of the earth and touching every human soul. Nothing would ever be the same again. That day marked a turning point for humanity. With every individual imbued with power or ability, some grew animal parts as an extension of their new gifts, while others transformed into lost souls or phantoms, destined to haunt the earth. The phantoms, driven by malice, unleashed havoc across the globe assaulting humanity, structures, and nature itself. Some materializing with a physical form, while others were more like wraiths, wreaking havoc from beyond the veil. Unbeknownst to humanity a hierarchy of power began to emerge. Those who had animal parts found themselves bestowed with unique abilities, their powers distinct and formidable. In contrast, humans without the animal traits possessed more generic abilities, their powers less extraordinary but still significant in their own right. Among the transformed, those without animal traits discovered they had basic elemental abilities manipulating fire, water, earth, and air and telekinetic powers. These capabilities though impressive, were more generalized. In contrast, the humans with animal traits possessed powers that were more unique as their physical changes. They exhibited abilities that mirrored their animal traits, such as enhanced speed, acute senses, or even the power to heal rapidly. Some even developed entirely new skills that defied conventional understanding, marking them as extraordinary in the new world. Chaos reigned in the new world as the old laws crumbled and new tensions arose. A rift formed between the humans without animal traits and those who had transformed. The former saw the latter as dangerous and unpredictable, while the individuals with animal traits felt ostracized and unfairly scrutinized, their powers and traits misunderstood and feared. Humanity fractured, with groups forming and claiming territories based on their differences. The majority isolated themselves from those with animal traits, and vice versa, as mistrust ran deep. However, in certain areas, small bands of people defied this trend, staying together despite their differences, united in their efforts to rebuild and protect themselves from the relentless phantoms that attacked without warning. Across the fractured world, human and human-trait groups alike took up the mantle of discovery. They banded together in search of answers, traversing continents in pursuit of any clue that might explain the transformation that had upended their lives. Following the path of the shockwave, they moved forward with a mix of determination and uncertainty, knowing that the truth or danger lay ahead.

This story is about a special person named Brady, he’s a prince in a fallen kingdom that is called The Kingdom Of Astyrid. After a tragedy that will be explained later, his father, his mother (who despises Brady) and his older sister moved to a village in hopes of starting over in a town called Arkshire, while his parents still have their eyes on maybe one day, rebuilding the Kingdom of Astyrid from the destruction from that one night. In this story are: Demons, Elves, Dwarves, Ghosts, Humans (obviously), Giants, animals as well. But this is supposed to take place in a more futuristic timezone. :)

The other two, 'Poem me Pretty,' and 'Shorty short shorts,' are not my main focus, but are fun :) thank you. ^-^

See life with wonder. Here are the times and moments in which I fell in love with life.

I wrote a book once. It was an unhinged fantasy born from my high-school brain, driven by loneliness and too many hormones. It was a world of beastmen, wild freedom, and the kind of romantic attention I could never get in real life. I poured every impossible desire into it: adventure, danger, and yes… a 'lot' of handsome partners. Before I knew it, I had a thousand chapters of pure escapism and pure thrill. Then on a college camping trip, I fell off a cliff. I expected to wake up in a hospital room but nope. I woke up on a soft field of grass, with air too fresh to belong anywhere on Earth. And then something moved behind me. Sticking out of my tailbone was... A tail. My tail? Yellow and black stripes and very, very real. I touched it. Completely real. My ears? Also gone—well, moved. They were now perched on top of my head like a confused jungle cat. And the outfit? Quite revealing, made of animal hide which matched my tail. What was going on? At first, I thought it was a prank. Or a dream. Or maybe karma is finally cashing in. But the more foreign memories evaded my mind, the clearer my situation became. This wasn't cosplay and it wasn't Earth, either. And—surprise—it wasn't even the world from my own book. Welp. I had been transported into a completely different Beastman world as a beast girl called Arinya. Sounds fun, right? Well… it would be, if I weren't apparently the ugliest duckling in the entire freaking savannah! Rejected by every potential mate I stumbled across and sneered at like a freaking eyesore. This was not how I planned my fantasy to come to reality. Trust me—if this is my fantasy come true, then someone needs to fire the author. But then again, after entering this world, I'm suddenly... Attractive. I mean, there's no change to my face and the freckles are still there, but for some reason, handsome beastmen begin to flock around me, because I smell... Pleasant. What's that all about?

Fu Shinian, an extra character in the original book, awakens to find that her whole family are the vicious villains in the story. Her father, unable to establish relations with the Marquis Changping's residence, is demoted and exiled by the male lead. Her mother is beaten to death on the road to exile, and Aunt Cheng is humiliated to death protecting her chastity. Her elder brother opposes the male lead to win over the female lead and dies saving her. Her elder sister makes life difficult for the female lead, and after their father is exiled, she is divorced by the male lead and sent to a pleasure house. To protect her family and change their tragic fate, isn’t it fair for her to absorb all the male and female leads' fortunes? * [Ding! Male and female leads' fortune -1000, Fu Mansion's fortune +1000] Mr. Fu: "I attended the morning court session, why did His Majesty promote me again!" Madam Fu: "I went to the temple to offer incense, and the master said I was surrounded by a powerful purple aura!" Aunt Cheng: "How did the Cheng Family suddenly become the imperial merchants!" She frantically absorbs the fortunes of the male and female leads to boost the Marquis Changping's fortune! During the plague lockdown, Fu Shinian brings medicine and travels long distances into the city to safeguard his health. He understands the girl's intentions, but he only has two years left to live, how can he drag her down. However, why does his heart ache so much watching her with someone else? Finally, the Marquis Changping forces Fu Shinian into the corner of the study, lowering his head to seek her lips: "Niannian, I was wrong."
