Echoes of Elysia
After death arrives, souls are taken up into the heavens to a far away realm, Elysia. They are greeted at the gates by a mystical gatekeeper given two choices; to enter Elysia and continue living to fulfill their own desires, or to allow their soul to move on and dissolve into nothingness.
Echoes of Elysia follows the journey of Indra, a lost soul seeking redemption after the grievances of her mortal life.
Upon entering the realm Indra finds herself in a realm that is not like any other-an unending landscape that stretches much past her eye can see. Elysia is a land of dreams and second chances, all who die but their souls do not pass on by themselves are given the chance to enter Elysia, a chance for a second life, a redemption. Inside of it there are many sprawling cities, beautiful forests, shimmering deserts, and much more. But inside of it there is also unequalled challenge and ancient secrets.
Inside of this realm every existing thing is made up of an essential energy referred to as Zephyra, this is what connects and permeates everything in reality. It is an invisible and ever-flowing stream that is the foundation of reality itself. Zephyra influences everything in the realm of Elysia. Zephyra can be harnessed to create and conjure things that are only limited to your own physical ability and creativity. For ordinary people, attuning to and manipulating Zephyra takes years and years of physical, and spiritual training in the body and mind respectively. Not only this but Zephyra is the life to all things in Elysia, when this is taken things tend to cease to exist.
Finally, the realm of Elysia is split into the Ten Empires, each claiming control of large territories of Elysia and utilizing Zephyra to secure their powers. The rulers of these nations and known as the Ten Absolute, the first ten people who were taken to Zephyra by the higher powers, it is widely believed that they are all monstrously strong and wielding their own unique devastating abilities each.
