Dua bulan usai keluar dari pekerjaan, aku pergi ke sebuah desa di pinggiran negeri. Berangan menjalani hidup menyenangkan tanpa memikirkan kasus sulit yang menyita waktu tidur. Tapi, aku salah. Sejak awal seharusnya aku tidak pergi ke desa itu. Seharusnya aku tetap berada di kota dan tinggal di sebuah penthouses. Berdiam diri di kota dan menghamburkan uang di usia muda. Tidak perlu bermimpi menghirup udara sejuk khas pedesaan. Itu bermula saat aku bertemu seorang perempuan hari itu. Dia adalah seorang pembunuh. Aku pikir hidup di pedesaan akan membuatku tenang dan tidak perlu lagi bergemelut dalam kasus berdarah seperti itu. Namun, perempuan bernama Schila itu membuatku harus kembali ke pekerjaan lamaku sebagai seorang detektif. Paranoia Schizophrenia. Penyakit gila semacam itu nyatanya membuatnya terhindar dari hukuman jeruji besi. Dia malah dikirim ke rumah sakit jiwa untuk menyembuhkan penyakit mentalnya. Itu membuatku merasa gagal menjadi seorang detektif.
