The book ends with Jonathan and Isadora surviving, wounded but standing, vowing to protect Gotham in their own way. Their legacy is secured when Isadora gives birth to their son, Thomas Wayne — the man who will one day father Bruce Wayne, the Batman.

If you want to be with him/her just make a move but not to the fullest because you cannot decide what's in the end maybe you will be the happiest man/woman or you will end up full of sadness and hopelessness.
