The show is largely set in the fictional realm of Ninjago, a place loosely inspired by East Asian myths and culture. Descending into the depths, they discovered a hidden chamber filled with dusty old books and arcane artifacts. Among the books, they found the diary of a former orphan who had vanished without a trace many years ago. The diary revealed that the orphanage had once been a place of dark rituals and forbidden experiments, conducted by a group of cultists who sought to tap into the power of the supernatural. As the children pieced together the chilling history, the ghostly figure they had seen appeared before them.
