Instead, I woke up blinking into a blank canvas with a freaking loading sign before me. Because I’d been reincarnated… as a cursor. Yes. The little arrow on a computer screen. The one humans drag around without a shred of mercy. Now I’m forced to wander the internet at the whim of clueless users. One moment I’m opening spreadsheets full of numbers that make no sense, the next I’m being shoved into a dungeon of pop-ups offering “Free iPhones” and “Hot Singles in My Area.” I’ve faced Captcha trials that question my very existence (“Am I a bus… or am I not a bus?”), battled malware goblins in shady download sites, and endured the cursed lands of comment sections. But this cursor isn’t content to blink in silence. If the gods stuck me here, then fine—I’ll master this glowing body, survive the horrors of the web, and carve out my legend. This is the story of how I, once human, became the most dangerous pointer in the digital multiverse.

When the world was young, supernatural creatures walked among mankind freely. Chaos reigned as the supernatural beings sought supremacy. The human race was nearly wiped out of the face of the earth. Dark creatures preyed on the weaker. Demons inhabited human bodies and angels fell in love with them, hence Nexi, the cursed, were born. Anathema has always seen strange things but never knew exactly why. Despite the pain, misery, agony and suffering it brings her, she has learned to accept her unique ability. As she strives to find out the reason for being able to travel through different realms and being a magnet to spirits of the dead, she realizes how little she knows about the truth of her existence.

Chapbook of dark poems about vampires, aliens, angels, demons, monsters, diseases, villains, rogues, and the sea. The bulk of these were written during my years as an undergraduate student at George Mason University, in Fairfax, Virginia, and represent some of my favorite themes: death, lost love, the ocean, alienation, and (odd as it may seem) disease.

The voice sounded distorted, I went on my defensive pose waiting for something to happen. “You are a thema, your job is to accompany children in their nightmares.” The voice distorted. “You are a- ***** You are to obey the excellency and assist at all times, you are forbidden to get out of this *********” I wasn’t able to hear some words. It sounded like screams of pain. I trembled as I listened to it. Its sentences kept repeating except that it got louder and louder as I lost my hearing and sight.

The world is never as simple as it seems. Two lifelong friends find that out the hard way, as a road trip ends prematurely in the middle of nowhere. Anathema is the picture of a small rural town, but is there something else hiding underneath? And why do they feel so drawn to this place? Not romance focused (apparently having a female lead automatically puts it in that category)

Qin Yao opens her eyes and finds herself transmigrated from a post-apocalyptic world into the body of an ancient peasant woman. Her family consists of four stepchildren needing care. A good-for-nothing husband, who has nothing but looks, is causing a ruckus. They live in a thatched hut, without a grain of rice, the family is emaciated like refugees. If that wasn't enough, someone even comes to collect debts! Anger rises in Qin Yao's heart, and she kicks the wretched husband out, "Debt collector, feel free to just beat him to death!" But facing the fields, with her back to the sky, and her face to the earth, even a top-tier fighter from the post-apocalyptic world waves her hand: Can't take it! Really can't take it! Qin Yao scratches her head: In the ancient times where agricultural taxes are extremely high, how can I avoid farming? At this moment, the lazy husband who was sent away to die (twisting and crawling) (struggling to stand up) (screaming and roaring): My dear! I think I can be saved!
