Cronos Protocol
He was just another overworked, underpaid twenty-year-old orphan from Earth until he woke up as a baby in a world of mana, monsters, and magic.
He thought he’d hit the jackpot.
Thought his wildest fantasy had come true
To be reborn in that classic fantasy world.
He thought he’d be that guy.
That isekai protagonist with all the cheats, skills, and destiny.
But no system ever came.
Not even some semblance of power.
Only a mother whose warmth still made it all feel like a dream come true.
Until the village chief took notice of her beauty.
And she lost her life because of it.
For five long years, Arlen survived on scraps, rats, and spite.
Then, on his fifteenth birthday, when his body finally gave out beneath the fists of the chief’s son… A chime resounded in his head:
-Ding!
{Chronos Protocol Activated.}
{Affinity Detected – Time.}
This isn’t a hero’s tale.
Or that of a man living his best power fantasy.
This is the story of a son who will do whatever it takes to avenge and resurrect his mother.
Paradoxes and Consequences be damned.
Besides, if the heavens or whatever the hell else that is out there didn’t want him to turn back time and bring her back…
They should’ve helped that day.
*Author's Notes -
1) Arlen would be OP, but every bit of that OP-ness would feel earned.
2) I will be focusing a lot on character development for both the protagonist and the side characters once the first arc is done with, and I have established Arlen's character.
3) There will be romance... but it won't be the main focus.
4) There will be many side characters with OP abilities... even more so than Arlen's at times.
5) The story will have Cultivators, Mages, Spell Blades, and many other... 'classes' you could say. Each will follow their own set of rules, perks, and drawbacks.
6) The world will be a blend of both eastern and western fantasy worlds we all are famillair with. It'll have stuff like - Sects, Associations, Academies, Dungeons, Kingdoms, Religions, and many Demi-Human Races such as Elves, Dwarfs etc... Yeah, even cat girls too.
7) I have taken a lot of insperation from folklore all around the world from Gods to demons to everything in between.
